I've had a difficult time finding a neutral shoe that is wide enough for my foot. Even though I am a female, the Ghost 16 Men's size 9 X-Wide (4E) is perfect. I wish it came in more colors in the 4E width. Right now It is available in Black and in Gray. More colors please!

Love these shoes. They're the most comfortable I can remember wearing. They feel like I'm walking on air after a nice foot massage.

This inmy third pair of Ghosts. The 16 is lighter and a bit springier than earlier models while maintaining the overall balance of the Ghost line. I need an extra-widereally wish the water-resistant model came in an extra-wide, as the Ghost 16 has a mesh outer shell that doesn't hold up in the rain. The back heel on my past two models wore down after months of use very suddenly creating a wide, concave surface across the heel which became slippery when wet. Hope the newlt designed heels on the 16 hold up better over time.

Ordered on recommendation of orthopedic surgeon MD DPM for use with custom orthotics. Have severely collapsed ankle, flat feet, foot and ankle arthritis . Great shoe this use. With new orthotics a big upgrade from previously worn Adreneline 23 without orthotic insoles. Thanks for making in 12 1/2.

I've owned five pairs of GHOAST and use them for my annual 800 to 2000 miles of road training and racing. They are a reliable choice that I don't have to think about while running. The design has improved, especially for heel strikers like me. The sole durability is better than before; I can reach about 600 miles on a pair while they still look and feel good. My first pair lasted 900 miles before retiring. I also use four other brands, and as someone with wide feet, I've tried both standard and wide versions. The wide fit offers extra toe space, but the added width around the laces is excessive for me. The standard fit works fine after breaking them.

Just starting back to jogging after injury. Replaced my Ghost 15 with these Ghost 16. So far no issues.

Great fit, comfortable, and good value. I'm already thinking about buying an extra pair.

This the second pair of brooks ghost shoes I've owned in 4 years. My hopes are these will last just as long and I'll be more than happy with that! Great support, extremely comfortable, superb wear on rubber sole.

I've been wearing Brooks for a few years now. This recent purchase was for my husband who hasn't been able to find a pair of sneakers that he loved. Ghost are my personal favorite and recently convinced my husband to hop on the Brooks bandwagon. He tried multiple styles and decided on the Ghost 16. He has plantar fasciitis so is always achy, but the Ghost 16 alleviates much of his discomfort. He has the black/black and they look better in person. My only criticism is the laces. I'm constantly re-tying them. If you're running or even just casually walking, they come undone. It can be quite annoying.

This is my first Brooks & very impressed. Toe box is roomy and very comfortable. Great quality overall. I will buy again.

I don't run but walk plenty in these shoes. I love the great fit and comfort of the narrow width. Excellent shoes.

I am a walker. I great for incline treadmill training. I am a woman. I buy and wear my Brooks shoes in a man's 10.5. The woman's Brooks aren't for me. They just don't feel comfortable, supportive or have that just right feel on my feet. \_()_/ But the best part about new Brooks is this. I wear them until they feel worn out to me. Then when my friend and her family visit from Africa, I give her husband my old Brooks. He tells me they feel brand new to him!!

This is my 5th pair of the Ghost. I ordered the extra wide and like it a lot. Wish it came in more colors. I got black. I am a walker. Team them with wool socks and very comfortable at 25 degrees.

I've got about 25 miles on these shoes, mostly on treadmill. The fit is consistent with Brooks shoes for me. I'm a 12 1/2 wide, these fit well for me. I replaced the insole with an aftermarket insole for additional stability. Ran about 3 miles on the road, seems to feel pretty good. I'd recommend the Ghost if you are a fan of previous models.

I've liked the Ghost for many generations. I've switched to others, either within Brooks or not, but always come back to ghosts. They are the best for those that put in the miles because best combo of comfort and speed. But I must say, and this is saying a lot imho, these 16's are the best ever. The new nitrogen injection is a game changer in comfort and durability. My first pair of running shoes lasting 6 months in a long time!
