Nice comfortable trail Runner. It seems the shoe is more narrow than the Speedgoat 5 so if borderline some may want to consider a wider shoe.

Feels ok, still have to get out on the road or trail the really feel them out. Just wearing in the house right now. Will progress to the street when the weather changes.

Great traction on rough terrain with good cushioning. Just not as responsive nor lightweight as I was looking for.

Love LL Bean. I loved the 5s and gave the 6s a go. Ill just say I like the 5s better.

I am not a long distance runner, I mostly go on simple 5ks on normal trails and I think they are perfect. They feel a bit like the 4s. I'm a fan of the stiffer feel. They were a bit narrow so I just bought the wide ones.

Need more access to wide shoes. Very limited and if they offer wide they are gone quickly

4s firm, 5s soft, 6s firm. Shoe would be perfect if the midsole was 10% softer.

Love the improved padded tongue on this model compared to the 5s. They do seem a bit stiffer this time around. I've had many speedgoats in the past, 3rd generation and up. Great traction as always with the vibrum soles. I run a lot in the desert and mountains and the traction is amazing. I did roll my ankle is these pretty easily in these so I opted for the 5 midgtx. I think these are best for less technical trails where good grip is needed and good ventilation. I really wish they would make a non goretex mid. Due to the terrain around me I'll probably enjoy the mid more but I'll probably switch back and fourth depending on what I'm running that day.

After disposing of my Speedgoat 4's in April, I was anxiously awaiting the release of the 6's. While I was hoping to do a test run and then throw them on for a trail 1/2, I had to cool my jets. After a few more runs, they're right back to the comfort and support I expect from a Hoka Speedgoat.

Firstly, everyone in the reviews giving a 1 star based on a color preference is ridiculous and in no way demonstrates the quality or a true review of the shoe. The next biggest complaint I am seeing is the stiffness of the midsole out of the box-- yes, it is stiffer than past speedgoats but that is a good thing! These are the same folks who are then complaining that the midsole dies after 150 miles-- if you want a midsole that lasts, it requires a break-in period, simple as that. I will agree that for the first 50 miles I didn't feel the midsole was really settled in yet but after that 50 mile mark for me they feel solid. I have about 110 miles in the shoe now and have taken it up a lot of peaks here in SW Colorado that are technical with a lot of scree fields and on and off trail travel. In my opinion, these are the most technical trail ready speedgoat yet and I think the midsole has a lot to do with that advancement. It is really protective and feels more stable under foot in very uneven, rocky terrain.
I will be buying another pair for sure once these are cooked as they are proving to be a great daily grinder that I can count on for a majority of my outings. I sprinkle in a few other shoes as well into the rotation but the speedgoat 6 will continue to be there for sure.

A little stiffer than the typical HOKA but super nimble for the trail. Fit is great and traction is spot on. I took them on my first trial run/hike and they came back stained like I washed them off in the wind and the yellow and orange have staining from one run. HOKA needs to hurry up and get a new color option

Very happy with the performance of the shoe with the exception of the fabric/colorway. I took these out on my first train run/hike and came back and they are getting stained after a single run :(.

The heal loop on the back of one of the shoes has already ripped off and that was day two of having them

I have always worn Clifton 9's and I absolutely love them.
I have not been a fan of colors offered in the 10's so I opted to try these. Love the looks, and the support but no matter which way I lace them I'm having heel slippage. Only way to avoid is lace very tight which does not work as it cause burning in my feet. Still trying to give them a chance.

Shoes are good but tongue is thin and adds pressure to the top of your feet. They need more padding. I prefer the Mafate. More cushion and love the velcro on the back for gaiters

I probably will not buy this shoe again unless I can't find anything better. I use them for golf and by the end of the round the bottom of my feed are in pain. Initially I thought it may be that my first pair was just old but I bought the same shoe again and even with the new pair I have a lot to pain after my round of golf.

I own three pairs of HOKA shoes, and the other two pairs are great and have been very comfortable, which is why this experience was disappointing. Even though I purchased the wide option, this pair still feels too narrow to wear comfortably for extended periods, even after a break-in period. Additionally, I ordered the Black/Black colorway, but in certain lighting the shoes appear noticeably purple, which was unexpected.

Normally I wear 11.5 in HOKA. These were really snug, even compared to previous generation Speedgoat.

A solid trail runner with a significant flaw. The tongue always slide down while putting the shoe on. The Speedgoat 5 had a better tongue design. Otherwise, it is just as good as the Speedgoat 5.

Having only tried these on for fit, I can say I the stack height and density felt good to me for longer trail miles, but the toe box was a bit constrictive and seemed likely to irritate toenails. For those with orthotics, the heel cup is somewhat shallow so these don't accommodate inserts as well as others.
