I had seen HOKA shoes and found them interesting so I finally broke down and purchased a pair. First thing I noticed was a pretty solid bottom. Sort of like a car tire. They were exceptionally comfortable. I don't know if it is because they are new or just because of the padding. They feel clunky but I must say I'm a HOKA fan now. I purchased them to walk/run and they have been great. They are comfortable and well worth the money. They are so much better for my body in walking or jogging and everyday wear.. They are good on my legs, knees and feet. I do recommend them..

I wear Hoka clifton 10 as my everyday shoes, so when I needed to replace my golf shoes I started looking to see what Hoka had and I found the Speedgoat 6 and they work great have good grip and keep my feet dry on wet days.

I bought these for light duty hiking, trail walks etc. I've taken them to Lake placid, I've taken them to Palm Springs and I've taken them to the daunting Runyon Canyon in LA. Wet terrain dry terrain. loose terrain, all were handled expertly. These are fantastic light duty hikers. I highly recommend them. Next up, Mount Etna in Sicily!

I bought these to wear on a 60 mile hike on the rugged Southwest Coast Path in Cornwall, England. They handled this hike beautifully. Much of it was on rugged, rocky trail with lots of scrambling on and over boulders. There was also a lot of smooth cruising with steep ups and downs. I also use them for trail running here in Portland, Maine. We have very diverse trails, most of which are rocky, rooty and slippery. The traction is excellent and there's plenty of support without being heavy.

Im 240lbs Neanderthal man. This is the best shoe I could find and wear for technical trail running. I've done loads of training and a few 25K mountain races with them.

Kid (15) is very happy about them, he actually smiled! His feet marching up and down the hill are happy, happy the shoes do well in the wet halls after getting to school.

This review is based on four pairs used by our family for Moab hiking. I was very conscious of the multiple reviews that stated the tongue looked too "short", so reviewers returned their pair. The tongues did look short; however, even after using the back lace eyelet for heel security, we experienced good protection from the shoe strings. Some other reviewers were dissatisfied with color choice. I suspect that has improved with more recent color options added. We were satisfied with the choices. The grip on these was AMAZING for rock scrambling, and they performed well on other surfaces like sand and gravel. I am at 50 kM on my pair. Judging from the wear, I expect average durability. I ran various paces on a 12K, and was satisfied from easy pace through 10K pace. I noticed a slight hot spot at the front of my arch during the last kM, but I tend to get that in some other shoes. Great shoe experience so far!

I ordered size 13 2xwide. I hiked 650 miles across Europe up and down hills and mountains, on all kinds of terrain from mud, rocks, grass, asphalt, sandy beaches, etc. Never had any discomfort or pain, not even a single blister. I still wear them today and they feel great. Glad I bought these for my trip. Money well spent.

Thanks to the Customer Service team. I ordered a size 9 wide, received them in very good time. Probably for me, a little small. So, I asked for an exchange for 9.5 Wide, and those fit like a glove, a received them in no time. Thanks again..

This review is for golfers who prefer walking 18 holes; if you are a runner, feel free to skip it. I love these shoes and now that I have the correct size, they are so comfortable. I golf 6 days a week, sometimes 7, and I play in the early mornings when there is dew on the grass. Most times I'm out there with the first tee time teeing off, and the grass is wet, and I have other golf shoes that wouldn't make it past the first tee box to the fairway without my socks getting wet. By the time I get to the 18th hole, well, I'm used to it by then, but my socks and shoes are soaked. Well, I got the pair delivered yesterday, and I played in them this morning. For a minute, I thought my socks were going to get wet, but they didn't. My feet were so comfortable and dry throughout the whole round. My feet didn't hurt at the end of the round, and I felt like I was walking on a cloud, and I even played better than normal. This review is tailored for golfers who prefer walking 18 holes; runners can feel free to skip it. I love these shoes! Now that I have the correct size, they are incredibly comfortable. I golf six days a week, sometimes seven, often during the early mornings when there is dew on the grass. I've used other golf shoes that wouldn't make it past the first tee box without soaking my socks. By the time I reach the 18th hole, my socks and shoes are usually drenched. However, I received this new pair yesterday and wore them for a round this morning. For a moment, I thought my socks might get wet, but they didn't at all! My feet stayed completely dry and comfortable throughout the entire round. They didn't hurt at all by the end, and it felt like I was walking on a cloud. Plus, I even played better than usual! I would recommend ordering one size bigger than your standard shoe size, as they tend to run smalljust my personal opinion.

I beat the crap out of these shoes and they're wonderful. I have a wider foot and they fit nicely. The padding is great, the tread is great for hiking. I hardly use my hiking boots at all anymore. I've gotten them wet, muddy, dusty and they hold up really well.

I purchased my SpeedGoat 6 to use as a golf shoe. I walk 45 holes almost every week. I have Hoka Clifton that I run in. My son-in-law purchased a pair for the Speedgoat 50K. When I saw them I thought they might work great for golf. I was right. I love them on the course.

First, I purchased the Speedgoat6 shoes as Base/field shoes because I umpire baseball games. They provide very good grip (cleatage?) on the field. I did this because my traditional base shoes didn't and they cost me a severe hamstring pull. Also, the cloth uppers provided for less overheating on a very hot Summer afternoon. My mistake was not spending the few extra bucks to get the GTX. For some reason (climate change?) we just got a number of rainy days. My feet got wet in the long, wet grass. Spend the extra few bucks. Other than that, the Speedgoats fit fine, provide the grip that I need and I love them. Recommend to a friend/colleague? Would and have.
