I purchase shoes for comfort but these have the comfort and style. Just as perfect the Bondi. Perfect!

As a nurse who could be on my feet 12-18 hours a day, these are amazing! So comfortable even standing in the OR for hours.

Yea I know that sounds weird but living in Vermont comes with dirt roads and rocksand after a week of wearing Skyward I'm finding that I'm pulling small rocks out of the middle tread while I'm out and about. The tread is deep and wide, and it's easy to pick up stones which then get stuck in the tread and stick out below the bottom of the shoe, making it immediately uneven and uncomfortable. I love these shoes, they're the most comfortable plush pair of Hoka's I've had, and they're easy on my no cartilage knee, but the rocks are a thing. Great for urban areas, not so much for dirt roads.

I really like these shoes! I gave them 4 stars because of the price but they're very comfortable and great for what I need them for (walking). It did take a little while to get used to the amount of cushion and I felt a little off balance for a few seconds, but that resolved. Very very cute. I'm a diehard Hoka fan and always go for either the Bondi 9 or Clifton 10. This is a nice switch. Would buy again!

They were too tight but I really wanted to love them. I enjoyed the feel of the cushion, but they felt too tight across my toes.

I was hesitant to purchase these shoes because of the price tag. However, a friend of mine recommended them. Specifically for the comfort it provided them when using on a daily basis. They’re a nurse and always on their feet so these came highly recommended by them. I’m a half marathon runner (not a pro, I run for fun). I’ve been in the market for comfortable shoes that will help with the impact and stress on my lower body. These so far are working well. I’ve been running in them the last couple of months and so far I’ve broken the shoes in just right. Less lower body pain after 6 miles daily training (4 days a week). Only thing I would like changed are better color blocks/ designs. My toddlers can come up with better color designs—seriously.

I purchased a 7.5 and I normally wear a 7.5. The length of the shoe seems correct, but it feels a bit short over the top of my instep. I do have high arches and a high instep but I don’t usually have a problem. I have found that not all Hoka’s are equal. I have a pair of 7.5D Arahi that fit great and I have a 7.5D Clifton that are way too wide. So I do hesitate in buying another wide shoe from Hoka. Love the lime green!

Love how cushy these shoes are! Great color too! (I purchased the lime green ones) If Bondi and Clifton had a child, it would be the Skyward X. However, the right shoe feels tight around my little toe. I tried loosening the laces, wearing thinner socks but that shoe is tight. At one point it was bad enough that my little toe and the next one over went numb. Still haven't decided if I will keep them. I was hoping that I could break them in a little more and the right shoe feels better after a mile or two. So, I'm on the fence about them. Maybe just the right shoe was not manufactured correctly? I've never had this happen with any other Hoka, Brooks or other brand.

These were my first pair of Hokas and I really wanted them to work for me. I did feel the soft cushion sole and I loved it. However, I felt as if I had less stability for my loose joints due to the wider base. They do run a tad wide, although that is usually a plus for those that wear them for long shifts.

I am currently training for a marathon, and I gave these a try. I thought they were very comfortable for shorter runs, but anything over 10 miles or so, they just started feeling so heavy. I also feel like I couldn't pick up speed for tempo runs in these. I ended up returning and got the Hoka Mach X2 which has been a better fit for me. Maybe Hoka can do something to make these lighter on the next version?? If so, I would probably give them a try.

I bought these specifically for workouts on concrete. The cushioning is amazing. I felt like I had a little spring in my step. I am giving them a 4 because I really need a wider toe box. I usually wear Bondi 7's and 8's and prefer the wides. I exchanged the original pair for men's hoping they would be wide enough but they are still snug in the toe box. I would love these for all day wear if they were wider. The sole is amazing though.

I love the tall stack of this shoe. The shoe feels plush, and very comfortable. I had read that the toebox is narrow, so I ordered a half size larger than I normally wear and I am glad I did!

I'm a Bondi 8 girl due to repeated surgeries on my ankle and the recommendation of my surgeon. I bought these thinking the added cushion would help take some strain off my ankle but the extra bounce in my step, doesn't give me the stability like the Bondi 8. I kept these tho for wearing when I stand at my desk, they are very comfortable. Deducting one star, this would be a great shoe with a wider heal base to match the Bondi 8!

My other Hoka shoes seem to be bigger in size/ fit. I normally wear 8. This seems to be tight. I love the cushion and it straighten up my spine and bounce back when I ran. I wish in the description of all Hoka shoes to specify the height of the heels. Some shoes have the description of shoes done beautifully. If they could have picture to show how the shoe feet fit on the cushion without the top cover of the shoes, people might be more interested. I am on my feet for 12 hours and it seems this is better than Bondi 7 (#3)and Govita 5#(2). Skyward #1, because of height and cushion. The only problem is color and I should have gone 0.5 size up than my other Hoka.

These are phenomenal shoes, particularly when it comes to cushion but after the first wear, the inside edge around the sock has turned black. I wear socks that are white with a little grey on them, but otherwise I have no idea where the black/dirt/staining has come from, but it has only gotten worse in the two weeks since. I wear the shoes every day for my 3.5 mile exercise on streets only but not in extreme conditionsit hasn't even rained. I wish these were offered in a dark color so the dirt wouldn't show up. I'd definitely order another pair because I love how they feel during a walk, but at this price point and only yellow and white as options, I just won't do it.

I have worn Bondi Hoka shoes for many years. I was anxiously awaiting the Skyward X to see if I could tell a difference. The Skyward X is noticeable plusher than the Bondi and walking was easier. My only concern is that the toe area is taller. I haven't noticed a difference in walking due to that looseness but it does feel different.

I loved these but they seem to run big. I normally wear a 7 in the Bondi 7, should have gone down a half a size. Other than that the shoes seem comfortable. Wished there were more colors....white is a horrible color for shoes.

I love everything about this Skyward X shoes. Beautiful, cheerful color, plush running shoes. However, I still need to go for a wider width as with my Bondi. I have to sadly return it and wait till the Wide Width Skyward X come out. Hopefully soon.

When I first put these shoes on I was a little overwhelmed by the stack height and the amount of cushion. I felt like I might not have enough responsiveness from them. I've since run in them several times (3-5 miles). One thing I noticed immediately is that my knee pain is gone and my insertional achilles tendonitis is significantly better. The shoes just feel great while running, and I feel great during and after my runs. I bought a 9.5 and had a little heel slippage, whereas my other Hokas in the same size don't have that issue. When I'm running, I can't feel the slippage, and it doesn't impact my runs.

Yes the Skyward X has great cushion. But it doesn't feel and fit right. It seems my feet feel so crooked. Or the shoes is uneven. So for me I don't recommend the shoes. I wish I can returned it.
