Didn't buy for running but for causal everyday wear. Great shoe!

I started wearing Hoka running shoes several years ago. Though I walk fast, I do not run. My podiatrist recommended running shoes rather than walking shoes. This is probably my 5th or 6th pair. The insoles are removable to accommodate my orthotics. Stellar Blue is a gorgeous color. I like how lightweight and cushioned they areit feels like I'm walking on air.

Look and feel great. So pleased!

Nice snug fit over instep and heel. They have a trimmer shape but also comfortable all day long.

The Mach 6 is too different of a shoe for fans of the Mach 5. Really disappointed in this revamp as it ruined my favorite shoe. I would liken the Mach 6 to the feel of a pair of Oofos flip flops. Please bring back the Mach 5! Until then, I'll be searching other brands for a new favorite and I've been a Hoka wearer for over ten years. PS - they run a half size smaller than the old one.

I needed something for walking my siberian husky who walks me and also for taking a brisk walk on my own. I absolutely love them. Not slipping in them nor am I hitting my toes at the end. The support is great and very comfy.

Best pair of all I own.

TLDR: If you have a wide foot, consider sizing up even more. My full experience: I loveee the Hoka Mach shoes. I just bought my seventh pair. I started buying them when they were the Mach 4s, loved the Mach 5 (RIP), had one of the Mach Xs, and now am into the Mach 6s. I have an extremely short, wide foot. (My ideal shoe size is a women's size 5.5 extra wide.) In Hokas, I can normally size up half a size and order the wide version. However, the toe box on the Mach 6 is a lot different than I'm used to, and it really impacted my use of the shoe. I ran in a pair of my normal (for Hoka shoes) size 6 wide and had a lot of trouble, especially once I crossed the 200-mile threshold. My feet would just acheeee for days after a long run. I finally realized it was a combination of the toe box being so much narrower than I was used to + how that impacted my normally neutral strike. I bought another pair of the Mach 6s in 6.5 wide (a full size up from my ideal size), and I am happy to report that the toe box feels better and the shoe overall works a lot better for me (even though it is a little long).

I never received this shipment. I was pretty bummed because I really liked the color and I love the other pair I purchased.

I don't why or how,But I never felt this kind of issue to all the brands I used before,And I always used regular. I exchange to wide and half size more but still giving me issues to the right side of my foot,Kts feel tight still and uncomfortable,It's very weird,And I don't think I will like the cushion so far I only tried Mach.

The Mach series is my absolute favourite running shoe but I prefer previous iterations. I run on the road between 35-70+ miles a week. I run about 8'08"min/mile pace. I wear women's 8.5 in Nike, 9 in Veja, 8 in Hoka (regular width). My non-sneaker shoe size is 8. I prefer light shoes that are still a bit stabilizing. I land on my big toe/the left ball of my feet, feet pointing in. For me, this doesn't fit *exactly* the same as previous Machs it's not too small per se, but the toe area is slightly different than the other Mach shoes and not in a good way because the rest of the size is the same, sizing up is too big for me. I also find the fabric is wearing much faster than all other Hokas I've had. I've only had them for a few months and there are some holes on top. However, it's still my favourite running shoe, and I would buy again, I'd just choose Mach 4/5 over 6. It's very bouncy, super super light, the bottom is durable so far (with regards to support/cushioning/bounce), they dry really fast after rain, and they're very breathable. The traction isn't great but it's not bad just slippery on sand. Overall I like this and would recommend, I just LOVED the Mach 4. They were so durable. I hope the next Mach can bring back some elements from previous Machs.
