Loved the yellow color for the summer but this style was a bit too narrow in the toe box. I'll stick to my Cliftons.

Best option to replace Clifton 9. I am 45 years old and these are so great at relieving my foot and back pain, this is the 3rd pair I've bought in 2years. I now wear them daily to work (elementary teacher), on daily walks with my newborn, and to theme parks 2-3 times weekly. I swear these helped me survive pregnancy last year. I've been in Hokas since having surgery for plantar fasciitis. Years ago, Clifton 5, was suggested by a store that did a computer analysis of my feet and they were great until the Clifton 9 came out and the toe box was small and cushion was off. I tried every other Hoka, New Balance, Mizuno, and more to find a better option. Finally, I tried the Mach 6. They felt like walking on marshmallows! I haven't had any problems with foot pain (I also have a nueroma) and my back pain is so much better (had to L4-S1 surgeries 20 years ago)! These shoes fit great and I think the cushion is softer than the Bondi, known for its cushion. The Bondi is a more stable shoe compared to this. They may take time to get used to the cushion, my feet felt a little shaky when I first tried them because they were so springy. But now they don't need a break-in period. , I can put on a new pair and wear them all day at SeaWorld or Universal Studios and come home without pain or exhaustion.
I'd also recommend:
Vionic Beach, Spenco

My major disappointment was opening the box to find a style marked BLACK (I checked to be sure) and these are GRAY. Basic gray. I don't know why they are described as black. I have black Hokas and compared the 2 side-by-side. Definitely NOT black. 2nd issue was, maybe I should have ordered wide instead of B width. They felt great until I had them on a few minutes and they felt too narrow. Would not work in cold weather with socks. After working on my feet many years, apparently I need a wider shoe than B.

My first pair of Hoka's! After wearing ASICS as my road shoe for 14 years, I am impressed with the Mach 6. The shoe fits perfectly, offers better feel, and are slightly lighter than ASICS Cumulus.

This was my third hoka Mach 6. Because of mileage I replace every 3 months with a new pair. As a result, I didn’t try them on before the Peachtree Road race, and put them on literally in the parking lot, and immediately my toes were hitting the end while walking. I didn’t bring my old ones so I had to run the whole 10K in the 10.5s that fit like 9.5. So unfortunate. I no longer have the original packaging but purchased a size 11 which just arrived, and they fit slightly large - like an 11 normally should fit. So I think I just got a bad/midsized pair of 10.5. Now I am stuck with slightly too large 11s (at least is more comfy than too small!). I will stick with instore purchases in the future!

I am a daily walker & very active. I have been wearing Hokas for several years now & only have good things to say, just wish the soles would last longer...but I know that is what makes my Hokas great for me. Thankyou

I've ran in the Saucony Kinvara since they were first introduced. My son talked me into trying the Mach6. Not only did I try it but have won my last 3 10k races wearing them! Excellent ride.

This is my first pair of Hoka's and I'm loving them! I was afraid the sole would be to thick but it is perfect in the Mach 6! They provide so much comfort and support while being super lightweight at the same time. Finally not feeling the shin splints I've had for months! My only complaint is the laces didn't stay tight but that was a quick easy fix with a new pair of laces. Bottom line HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

They're nice and comfortable, except I was put off by the uplifted toe area. I wanted a walking sneaker, not a running sneaker.

I took care of these sneakers (even avoided wearing them in the rain), but they developed holes in less than 5 months of wearing them. My previous sneakers (from a different brand) took over 4 years to develop holes in the same area. So much money wasted.

This is my first pair of the Mach 6 (I've owned 8 pairs of Bondi) and these do not disappoint! Light weight and very comfortable on a run. I am a fan.

Not only do these shoes feel like a wonderful little hug for your feet, they also really help relieve the pressure of knees and ankles too. I also really love that they come in all black! I bought these to replace my last pair of hookers that finally fell apart after several years of owning them. I didn't think they could get better than my last pair, and I like these even more!

I usually have great luck with Hokas. One of my favorite pairs of shoes ever were Hokas. So, I decided to get a new and improved pair when I wore mine out after hundreds of miles on them. I tried to pick out the highest rated shoes for jogging, and these came up. I expected great stability, ankle support, and comfort like always with Hokas. After only 60 or so miles on these, my knees and ankles are worse than before. The way this Pair forces you forward in your plant is jarring and it causes me to constantly have to worry about my balance. I feel massively unstable in these, on any surface. I have never worn a weirder pair of shoes in my life. It feels like I'm constantly running downhill and they force my ankles in. They also run a little big, so half a size down is a good idea. But I don't think that's the problem. It's the way they're made. Maybe people like these, but they're just not working for me at all.

A year after my first Mach 6 and now on my second Mach 6, I have some updates. I run outside on flat road, occasional sand on top (road near beach) with this shoe. I overpronate. I like this shoe but REALLY miss the previous Mach for its shape, sizing, and material. Material: Mach is still my shoe of choice and I just repurchased it, but the durability ended up being disappointing, especially compared to previous Machs. The bottom foam part wore down quickly and severely: the foam literally wore off on the inner sides (my fault as my feet collide when I run, but this is the first shoe for me where the foam wore down because of it), and it lost its "bounce"/response at maybe ~1/3 (maybe even fewer) of the miles I've done on previous shoes (and WAY more quickly than did the Mach 4, which is the longest I've ever been able to use a shoe it lasted forever). Sizing: Also, the sizing is totally off (for me) compared to previous Mach because of the toe box, which feels smaller. I just got a new pair and sized up .5 from my usual Hoka size (including a few other models of Hoka I've run with) and it has made a HUGE difference (major toenail damage last summer and immediately again this summer with my usual size :'(). Would definitely recommend sizing up (even beyond your normal running shoe size).

Beautiful color and style, but extremely narrow. I'm on my feet all day long, I doubt they will expand enough by the end of my shift.

Great looking shoe, a little snug I will keep them. I would like to see Bondi 9 in this color combo. Bondi fits me better.
