I really wanted to like the Hoka Skyward X, but after nearly 70 km, I haven't been able to run comfortably in these shoes. They significantly altered my stride, and I started experiencing pain on the left side of my hip. Despite their good cushioning, the change in my running mechanics has been a major drawback. If you're considering these shoes, be mindful of how they might impact your stride and overall comfort.

The shoes were dirty!! Someone wore them and sent them back after they tried them for a few days. I guess no one inspected during the return process, and threw them back on the shelves for resale. And whoever took the order didn’t inspected them before shipping out to me. I felt like I was wearing clown shoes!!

Horrible fitting. Should have never purchased these shoes. Should have stayed with my Bondi 8's.

I feel no stability in the soles. Nothing like the Bondi 8's which I should have stayed with and not ventured off the path with these horrible fitting shoes.

I've been running in Hokas since they came on the market. Just feels like I haven't been able to find a decent running shoe since 2018 or so. Clifton's running shoes are the only decent pair left , but only last a couple months.
