Best running shoe I’ve ever worn I finally found the perfect combination of lightweight and cushion. This shoes checks all the boxes. I’ve been a lifelong Nike customer as they fit my foot the best….until I tried these. Wish Hoka had a navy blue in the style of this one in black. Many of Hoka’s designs are a bit too much.

The shoes feels really great on foot. It's designed really well. One of the first running shoes I've owned (I own A LOT of running shoes) that I didn't have to use runner's loop. Fits like a glove. I really like it when I sped up, but to me it felt cumbersome at slow paces. Could have been tired legs. Great shoe over all.

I'm an intermediate runner in my early 40s, with a typical cruising speed of 8:30/mi in the 5K-10K distance. My feet are slightly wide, and computer imaging sized my feet at men's size 9.5E. While dealing with a minor left knee injury, I noticed that my Clifton 9 were the only shoes in my rotation that allowed for mostly pain-free running, and I needed a speed-shoe while recovering. Come Mach 6. Considering my injury, I did not have high expectations. The first impression upon putting the Mach 6 on was its similarity to Clifton 9, while feeling more narrow, though not tight, with a better foot lockdown. These shoes are really lightweight. When I took them out for a first run, a 5K in the streets, I PR'd immediately, topping my previous best by 13 seconds on a mile. Then last weekend, I took them on a first longer run, an 8-miler, and I logged a 10K PR during that run. All-in-all, no perceivable issues with my knee, despite the speed, and I am grateful. How does the Mach 6 feel? On that first run, I immediately thought of ASICS Novablast 3, but without the squishiness, and with some more perception of the ground feel underneath. The energy return is clearly present and feels propulsive. Just pushing forward feels more engaged and encouraged in the Mach 6. While the shoes are not necessarily "unstable," they are less stable than the Clifton 9. Therefore, I wouldn't suggest them for walking. There are more suitable options for that purpose. Overall, the Mach 6 is an outstanding running shoe, and definitely a winner for me.

This shoe fit well right out of the box. I use it for track workouts and tempo runs. I used it for one long run so far (16 miles) just to see how it would do and it was amazing during the long run. This shoe can literally do it all. I have been using the Clifton and Rincons since 2019 and I love both of those shoes too but I think I am a Mach guy now.

First the shoe is great! I use them for my everyday trainer. Just be aware that the Mach 6 is different then the Mach 5. They have fixed many things in my opinion to make this a much better shoe then the Mach 5. They fixed the "sloppy" toe box (in my opinion). The toe box is now narrower and fits much like many other running shoes I've had in the past. The stitching is different which also makes the shoe feel "smaller" in size. My Mach 5 (and every other shoe I've worn for 20 years have been a good fit at size 10.5us. The Mach 6 is very different. My toes are cramped at the end of the shoe so I had to send back and reorder a size 11us. I have not received them yet but will update to let everyone know how these new ones fit. I am guessing though that the extra half size will be perfect. So in my opinion if you liked the Mach 5 you will Love the Mach 6 if you order up half a size.

Great shoe, and the wide version is just perfect! I would recommend for sure. Almost felt like I didn't need to break them in. It's not extremely wide at all, and just good enough, I would assume they are narrow otherwise.

Bought these as a daily trainer. These were my first non-Nike running shoes in a number of years. I put a couple of 6 mile runs on them, and then ripped through a marathon distance through the streets of Philadelphia. Very few issues - a few hot spots here and there over the course of the run, but for the most part they were a joy to run in. Highly recommend.

The Mach 6 is an improvement over the Mach 5 (ran through two pair of 5s). A bit narrower in the toe box and a firmer ride but more responsive. The firm feel has softened a little bit after the first 50-60 miles. I prefer the look of the Mach 6. Less boxy, color scheme better. Great for tempo and speed work. Still good for zone 2 runs but not as plush as the Mach 5s. Going to buy another pair when these wear out.

Huge Hoka fan and specifically a fan of the Mach lineup. However, I have not been able to finish a run in this shoe. Most of the reviews I have seen say that the shoe runs a bit tight and that you may need to consider going up a size I did not find this to be accurate at all. My heels were slipping out of the shoe the whole time. The length was fine, but I couldn't keep my feet in the shoes.

Prior to the Mach 6 I'd been running in the Mach 5 for a while - I'd gone through about 4 pairs. After 80 miles in the Mach 6 I ended up returning them because they're just too narrow for my feet (particularly around the toe box). Aside from the fit issue I had no complaints about the Mach 6... but I definitely won't be buying the 6th version again.

Absolutely the best version of this shoe yet. Much improved fit in the upper forefoot that makes the this show comfortably wrap your foot without sacrificing the natural movement. The additional rubber to the outsole gives just enough stability to make this a great daily trainer and improve the durability.

Reference: I wear Clifton 9 size 9.5, Cielo X size 9, Mach 5 size 9.5. For Mach 6, 9.5 wide. It fits well out of the box. Hearing that it runs narrow, I got the wide. It might get little loose after few miles. Performance: The bounce is better than Mach 5 but less than Cielo. It will be a perfect daily trainer.

The Mach lineup has had a spot in my running shoe rotation since the Mach 4. I've put hundreds of miles on both the 4 and 5 and have loved them both dearly and feel that the 5 improved on the 4. This is the same case with the 6 overall, with a few minor downsides. First off, this shoe definitely feels like it will be more durable than the 5 which is my main problem with the 5. Otherwise, the shoe was perfect. The 6 is a little tight if you order TTS but I like the snug fit. It doesn't feel as fun or snappy to run in compared to the 5 but I think that's due to emphasizing longevity in the foam which is what everybody didn't like about the 5. The Mach 6 is still plenty of fun to run in and super light so it makes everyday from a normal easy run to a tempo run a lot of fun.

Just finished my second run in my new Mach 6. I have been running in Mach 5 and found them to be great. I noticed on my first run that they were sluggish, too squishy in the arch, rubbed on the heel and not a good running shoe. Felt unusual soreness in my knees, increased leg fatigue and pain in the football and toes. Decided to give them a second try and cut the run short as my discomfort increased. Very disappointing and won't be wearing them again for any purpose.

First, I will say this shoe continues the trajectory of being an excellent daily trainer that will let you pick up the pace. It will suffice as a race day shoe for people who don’t want or need a plated racer or the whiz-bang tech of a $250-300 shoe. I find this is great at pretty much everything, including intervals. It’s less about the supercritical foam for me, and more about the rocker. I find the rocker shape perfect for assisting me through my gait cycle. My only complaint is that, like all Hokas, this is not gonna be optimal if you have a super-narrow or low-volume foot. I have a low volume foot, and I do okay, but wish w could get this rocker midsole in the shape of a Puma, Nike or Adidas upper. Still, I highly recommend this shoe. For the price, you could get away with it being the only shoe in your rotation.

The Hoka Mach 6 seems to be a more comfortable and softer version of the previous Mach 5 and features a rubberized outsole on the bottom. I would definitely recommend this shoe as a daily trainer that can handle any type of work out.
