Purchased these for a grandson who is very athletic. He says they are a great fit for him and he likes the support they provide him when training. He's not a distance runner but said these are so good he might even start taking longer runs.

I had a pair of the Mach 5, and while comfortable upon step-in, they were not supportive enough for my finicky feet, nor did they have much cushion under the forefoot. These feel so much better! They fit my narrow heels without any heel slip. As a forefoot striker, these feel good under my forefoot. I wear an 8 1/2 in most running shoes, but I've always had to size down to an 8 in Hokas (including Mach 5). I bought an 8 1/2 in these and am glad I did. I have an average-width, low volume forefoot, and these fit just right. I would suggest ordering the wide-width if your feet are at all wide. These are going to be my daily trainers (speed, tempo, and even easy runs). I suspect they will be good for long runs, too, but I'm out of shape.

Love the ride, the comfort, the look. Fits perfectly and would get them over and over again, hopefully HOKA only makes changes of them for the better! Although not sure what else they can do, they're perfect as is!

I am a surgical tech for L&D so I am on my feet for 12 hour shifts 3-4 days a week. By far the most comfortable shoe I had and I've tried them all.

The guy at my local shoe store suggested these, and told me to size up at least a 1/2 size. I did, and they are phenomenal. Best running shoe I have ever owned. I usually prefer very plush shoes, but these feel very comfortable under foot. Very lightweight. It's making marathon training this season very fun!
I already bought a second back up pair.

This excellent shoe for all diatances, typically lasting between 100-250 miles of wear. Personally, I find myself going through 2 pairs each month, a testament to how often I rely on them for my daily activities.

I use this one for work at the Hospital standing up for 12 hours on hard tile floors and it's cushy and wonderful and never have any foot pain. I don't think about standing on my feet. My feet are happy. so I don't have to think or worry about them They're the best.

Not comfortable at all. Superrrr narrow for skinny feet people. The cusion is decent but I feel like they forced me to invert the sole a bit. Ran 5 miles in em and hurt my feet. Going back to the Clifton 9s I guess. I typically wear a 9-9.5 I got the Mach 6 in 9.5 and they're still too snug/tight. I like the way they look but it's not a good shoe to run in.

Initially these shoes felt a little more snug than I'm used to but it does not inherit my running.
My daily trainer is heavier than the Mach 6 so these feel very lightweight! When running they feel very responsive and snappy.
I saw some online reviews stating stability might be an issue but I've had not issues with stability.
Loving these shoes for speed workouts and pushing the pace on my longer runs.

I have two other Mach 6 at size 10.5, they feel just roomy for me in the toe box. However, the ones I just purchased were undersized. They feel closer to a size 10 and are not as comfortable.

The Mach 4 pair from a few years ago are the most comfortable shoes I own. I should have bought several because the Mach 6 is not the same fit or comfort. There is less heel stability and ankle support, and the toe-box is way bigger, which leads to slosh in the forefoot.

The Mach 5 is by far my favorite. I have 2 pairs of the Mach 5, Bondi 7 and Clifton 9. Ordered these and immediately noticed a more snug fit across the top of my foot. The length (size) was a perfect fit, the toe room was perfect but across the top it was way more snug than any other pair I have straight out of the box. The step feels a little more rounded in the heel. It has a smaller redesigned heel than the Mach 5 has. It's almost a little weird. I'll try them out on a full day at work tomorrow and see if they break in any. I'm not a training athlete. I do a lot of walking on concrete at work. Needed something with a little bounce and comfort.

They are good walk, I definitely like the Gaviota 5 a lot better. I just don't like the colors.

Thickness of cushioning seems to have been increased but by narrowing the impact surface area. This creates unwelcome foot/ankle instability. Having worn 3-4 pair of Mach a year since 2018, I find this new iteration unwearable. Unfortunate it is when running shoe companies tinker with something that works. It's how I discovered the Mach in the first place...

I've worn Brooks and Asics for years, but their shoes are not as comfortable as they used to be, and fit differently. I finally tried on the Hoka Mach 6 - holy smokes, the most comfortable running shoe I've ever worn. I originally ordered the gray, and they are so comfortable that I ordered a second pair in bright blue.

It's really difficult to pick which shoes I like the most, but these are up there. I have Cliftons, Bondis, and now Machs and these are so light and springy. I love them. They come with a second pair of laces to accent the color more which was awesome.

I love Hoka but you meed more wide width in dark colors or the breathable stretchy fabric. I wear my for work and I work in a dirty shop. I have had Clifton's, Rincon, Kawana and Mach 6. The material of the Kawana is the most comfortable.
