the lace area is in place and that is the tightening allowed without puckering at the toe

Shoe was comfortable with the exception of the rigid elastic and firm ridge on the sides that digs into the side of the ankle. Had to return because of this. I tried these in grey and in green. The green had some weird manufacturing issues where there was too much fabric in the toe box area causing it to crease and fold in weird ways when tied. It was a slightly thinner different mesh then the grey, which was more rigid and didn't have this issue.

I wear either a 10.5 or 11. Ordered an 11. These are a little long or maybe too wide for me. I can feel my feet sliding around in them unless I really lace them up tight. My biggest gripe is the effort required to put them on. If you don't completely unlace them they're really hard to get on-unless you're willing to really squash the heel putting them on. A heel pull-tab would really be welcome. And I keep waiting for them to get a worn/broken in look. Not happening, they still scream NEW SHOES even after 3 months. I guess this could either be good or bad depending on your viewpoint. So...not my favorite pair of shoes by a long shot, but not awful either.

Insole has small cradle feel to it with not much of a cushion. There’s no tread at all on the bottom of this shoe.. It looked worn out

I ordered this and another New Balance shoe (same size, 10W) on the same order. This one felt at least a half size small. (The other felt a full size small.) I wear a Brooks 10W and that fit fine (also purchased on this order).

Smaller than any similar sized shoe I’ve ever owned before and definitely not wide fitting as the size I ordered. Terrible.

The fit was too small. The in person look was not as expeced.

Looked nice but all the support is in the heal. They lack support across the ball of the foot.

This is a sock type shoe, no where did I see this mentioned before purchase. To tight across top of foot

Not comfortable. Did not fit well. Shoes returned.

I did not like the fit as it felt the inside of each the heal ... made my foot camber out. Stange.

Shoe Construction made it difficult to put on.

Am returning them because I didn't realize that the tongues were stitched to the sides. I have high arches, so can't get them on easily or at all.

I normally wear 9.5, in these the 10 were what I settled with. Still feel too narrow on my feet and the breathability of this shoe is disappointing. New Balance has generally been a brand I have worn regularly for years. That might be changing.

Outter material was really bad. Thin material and not comfortable at the top heel part too high

Not durable. Tore up my feet after walking 10+ miles a day on vacation. Pretty disappointing. New balance is always been my favorite, but I won’t buy these again.

These sneakers are defective. My son wore them for less than a week and the leather at the eyelets ripped in multiple places when he was tying his shoelaces . that should never have happened. I am returning them as they should not have been sold.

Returning, poor support, very squishy, foot swims in these. Foot rolls all over the place. Materials unsupportive. Comparable to wearing the cloud slides. Yes, maybe good use for house slipper/shoes but not for outdoor activities. Never had this from NB before.

This is a very nice looking shoe. As I opened the box, my husband remarked how "good looking' it was. Admittedly, I have a hard to fit foot but I have never had a shoe like this one. The design is odd; the tongue is attached to the shoe on each side of the upper, high on the shoe. There is a gusset of elastic to allow for some stretch but that was not enough for my foot to go into the shoe. If you have a wide foot or have even the smallest issue with foot flexibility, think twice before ordering this shoe.

These sneakers are trash. Upon opening the box, it is obvious that these sneakers are cheaply made and would not last a week of running. I ordered a 10.5 wide and they were both too short and too narrow. Also, they are marketed at "running shoes" which they clearly are not. There is no support and I doubt the durability. Shame on New Balance for producing such poor quality garbage.

Spent full price only for the shoes to be already worn, still with sock lint inside, scuffs all around the bottoms along with some wear and tear. It's looks like someone returned them after a month of using them.

The shoes did not seem to be appropriately sized.
