The laces are horrible. Beyond that.. I was sent a pair of shoes that appear to have been worn before I received them.. The shoes came in a plain cardboard box not a New balance box, and in addition the soles of the shoes were dirty.. if I wanted pre-worn shoes I would have bought them from Ebay..

I always buy New Balance trail shoes. I walk my dog 2 miles every morning on dirt trails. This is the first pair I ever regret buying. There is so much support in the heal, that on downhill grades, it slides your feet forward in the show so my toes are pushed up against the front of the shoe. Extremely uncomfortable. I thought it might get better after breaking them in for a month. It has not.

Felt stiffer than the other three pairs of different brands I tried. Not great arch support. As a long-term runner, I think I’ve tried new balance before and could never get into them so my mistake for ordering them again.

Great looking! It just felt a little narrow for a wide and a half size smaller.

The tongue of the shoe doesn't fully cover my socks. Very odd design.

They fell apart after only 3 months. I wore them once a week for a 5 mile hike. The sole detached from the toe of the shoe with less than 75 miles of moderate terrain.
