I was wearing Bondi 8 "Coach Look" (Black on Black on Black) to walk, heavily padded uppers and tongue, wonderful soles......but......soles were patterned with little 3/4" studs in the shape of an X (or cross). They picked up an extraordinary amount of dirt, mud, gravel and tree pollen in the treads, very hard to clean between treads. Unfavorable comments by my wife over my failures to get stuff out on the porch, and not the living room floor. They also were hot wearing (hour and a half walk). The Transport X is much much lighter, very thin (and breathable) uppers, including a very thin tongue. The sole! Mostly completely flat bottomed with some shallow indentations that don't pick up anything. Even the shoelaces are different with a special gritty texture that doesn't slip or come untied (I had to double knot the Bondi 8s). Wholeheartedly reccomend. WH

These are legit the best hokas I've bought, so comfy, light as a feather and breathable, the grip is awesome too.

I am a walking tour guide in New Orleans. This means I can do up to four tours a day. This usually means somewhere around 38,000 steps a day. These issues have made the experience so much more comfortable and has given me stainable for my day. I absolutely love these shoes.

Love shoes! Love the light weight feel of them. I feel like I am walking on clouds. Very comfortable. I love the bounce they have to them. Great walking shoe.

Transport x have been a good option for me, I work most of the day standing and they give me stability and support when walking and standing, they are a good option if you don't like to feel a lot of cushion and bounce.

Carbon fiber sole is perfect for arthritis in toes. Wish Hoka made this shoe with good tread as flat bottom is a no go for winter slippery walking

I am on my feet for 12 hours a day , and with a recovered broken spine. I didn't think shoes could really make this much of a difference, but I'm even walking straight. Compared to the pigeon toe step I usually take when I'm exhausted. Those nurses were right!

These are the best sneakers I have ever owned. Perfect for me. I love them. I purchased a second pair because they are my perfect shoe and I really really hope they keep making them:
1. I often buy wide sizes because I just don't like tighter shoes. These are excellent - wider toe box and normal midfoot, look streamlined despite being roomy.
2. Feels like a spring in my step. It has really really helped my foot pain!! At first I was not sure, but I realized almost immediately that I missed them when I took them off. My first rocker bottoms, which took a little while to get used to, then I added my own insole for a little more arch support. Within a week I took them on a trip, and I bought a second pair as soon as I got home.
3. I personally like how lightweight they are. I don't need thick sneakers, these feel supportive but not suffocating.
My only comments to Hoka:
- more colors!!! All black and all white are not that versatile.
- I am super happy that they don't have some awful thick tongue that annoys my ankle, but currently they are a little hard to put on because the tongue is short and folds under easily. I think even if it was just a slight bit longer it would be better.

I've been loyal to Hoka for years, wearing nothing else but them. I've gravitated toward to any model with a carbon fiber plate due to a worsening big toe joint. I recently had that toe fused, and was seeking a new shoe that I could wear comfortably and confidently. Bring on the Transport X. I bought a black pair and a white pair, and they will become my work and play shoe of choice. With ample room in the toe and the stiffness in the sole, I am walking better post-surgery than I thought I would. Please keep this model around!

I saw these shoes at an incredible discounted and just had to try them. They are better than I expected . Very comfortable for being on my feet and walking all day. And they look fantastic!

These are my new dress shoes. It is nice to have them in black. Astonishingly comfortable. I teach classes standing on my feet for eight hours each day I teach and my feet are still okay at the end of the day.

These are the most comfortable everyday sneakers I have found so far. I walk 1-2 miles around my university's hilly campus every day and these shoes have kept my feet very comfortable for over 150 miles. I really hope Hoka releases more colors/versions of this shoe instead of discontinuing them. This shoe far exceeds the comfort of a Solimar, Bondi, or Clifton shoe for daily use.

I bought the transport x to provide a little more stability than the bondi's I had been using for every day wear and for walking on the treadmill. They still provide good padding but are slightly more stable for me when walking. I'm 74 and have to be careful to avoid falls. Thank you Hoka for a solid choice for this purpose.

I purchased these shoes based solely on a recommendation from a co-worker. Working in the medical field I'm on my feet quite a bit, and honestly, these shoes are extremely comfortable. They have a spring or a bounce to the sole that feels like a cloud on my feet, and at the end of the day my feet aren't sore at all. First time buyer and absolutely satisfied! I definitely recommend these shoes!

I have very sensitive bottoms of myfeet and I have been looking for a long time for a sneaker that has adequate cushioning and support on the bottom of my feet. This is honestly the best shoe I have ever bought and I have been looking for many years. The sole is very sturdy and very thick and absorbs any shocked to the bottom of your feet. It's comfortable and I get a lot of compliments on it. The only thing that I would like to ask of Hoka is to please give better colors. I really liked the blue one. I am a woman and I don't like any of the other colors. Please make more shoes with thick souls on the bottom for people like me that have sensitive feet. I hope Hoka never discontinued the shoe because I have bought three already and I will keep buying them forever as long as you have them available. There's not enough attention in the shoe industry for people like me with sensitive feet. And again, please give more pretty colors for women. Thanks so much for listening!!!

I have been suffering from plantar fascitis and only Hoka made my life easier. Transport X is the best shoes I've ever had. Hoka is Gods best gift to people who have foot problems. True comfort at its best.

This is my second pair of Hokas and I have to say they have surpassed my expectation. So comfortable. Like walking on a cloud. Even heavy walking is a delight. Will order again.

I got these for hiking trails and uneven European cobblestones on a daily basis. I haven't tried them on wet concrete although the soled do seem to have good grip. The toe box is comfortable but snug enough that I don't feel like I will be jamming my toes on the downhill. They are very good looking shoes and are a nice lightweight for travel. I was having some issues with a little arthritis knee but so far, at 3 miles I don't feel anything. Hope to say that at 10 miles! I'll let you know.

A must have for anyone with big toe arthritis! I have wide feet, so I went up a half size, and they're perfect! It's so fabulous that I bought a second pair in a different color!

First I ordered the Vanilla and wheat color which was really a light peach color trimmed in wheat (tan). The vanilla is not an off white but a pinkish or peach color. I tried the shoes on and absolutely fell in love with how this shoe supported my feet and made me feel like I could run a mile or two which is hilarious for me. I am not a runner just getting into walking daily and this shoe made me want to run through my office. My feet heel has really been aching me in the recent past and this shoe ready alleviated the discomfort. I bought my eldest daughter who stands on her feet for at least 10 hours as a nurse practitioner a size 9 and she stated the shoe was also wonderful but an 8.5 would have been perfect. Based on her experience with this particular shoe I got an 8.5 which was perfect and I still have plenty of room ( I normally wear a size 9).
