It's a good product, but expensive.

Everything is fine, except price.

I'm replacing a well-worn pair of New Balance 940s. I can see why the 860v14 is such a popular shoe. It felt light and well-balanced. But it's not as comfortable as other New Balance shoes I've had in the past. Specifically, the toe box felt a bit tight both in the height and width, which was surprising as I usually wear a C or D width. The shoe also wasn't as padded on the sole as I like, and I felt that the arch support, while there, wasn't sufficient for my flat feet and significant over-pronation. I ended up returning these and going with the Saucony Guide 18s.

My son is on his 3rd pair of these since the beginning of summer. He has been running 30-35 miles per week and they have been great. They fit well and provide adequate cushioning without too much weight. My only criticism, which is huge, is the overly soft sole that wears too fast. I realize that he is putting lots of miles on these shoes but a one month life is ridiculous. The uppers are still immaculate.

To Big in the toe box, I need the wide with to make room for my "6th toe".

seemed narrower for 4E than my last pair of 860

I have been in 1080s and 880s. Thought i’d give the 860s a try. The toe box was less roomy and the overall width was narrower than the others.

Color does not match what was pictured online.

I have wide feet but other new balance shoes of this size have fit me. These were too narrow and felt like there was very little arch support

These shoes started out great, but after 5 months of wear for light walking and daily use, the foam on the outside edge of both shoes is totally collapsed and the shoes are no longer wearable.

Why did I spend $140 on a pair of shoes made in China? The blue color hooked me now I have the blues. The shoes are too narrow for 4E. Nike used to be my go to shoe, the past 5 years Nike has been the stay away from shoe. I could have bought shoes that fit me for half the price I paid for these. I made a poor choice....

Too spongy of a heel, with little to no side to side support. Feels like a platform shoe.

Horrible shoes. Way too soft and no real support. They hurt my feet when I tried running in them. They are so bad that I bought 4 pairs of the previous V13 to have when a pair get worn out. These are just terrible shoes.
