The 860 has been my go to shoe for years. I love the style updates to this version. The upper feels and fits great. Sadly that’s where the good things end. This has been a stability shoe, and a good one at that, until now. The outer heel and forefoot are so squishy, they make walking feel unstable. I can’t imagine training in these. The foam is not dense enough. V13 was an adjustment from the 12s as the 13s felt moderately squishy compared to previous versions. 13 is still stable enough and quite comfortable. 14 is for sure comfortable and the clean look of the white with sea salt looks fresh. Problem, and a big one this version feels anything but stable. If you are looking for stability, I would look elsewhere. If you like squishy and neutral shoes, these may be worth trying.

I first ordered EE (wide) because it seems running shoes in general have been running narrower. However, the 860V14 ran wider than expected. I now have them in "D" (normal) and they fit great, especially the toe splay. There's a bit of a rocker effect and you get a firm but not too firm bounce when doing walking as exercise. There is moderate stability, a good lock down, and are easy to lace. A bit higher platform than expected though. You will like these better than the Hoka Arahi 7, which have a rock hard platform and are narrow in the heel to mid-foot range even in the Wide version.

I bought these after reading comparisons of running/walking shoes with good arch support. They're extremely comfortable and have been helpful in reducing my tendonitis as well. My feet have been feeling great at end of the day.

As always with NB, the size 12 4E fit my very wide foot perfectly. The shoe was mostly airy, cool material was exactly what i needed for these southern 90+ degree days. Comfortable, white outer looks really sharp, cost of $130 was more than i wanted to spend but did it anyway. Love NB shoe styles because they consistently fit, are always as pictured and expected.

Very comfortable shoe, perfect for long walks. Nice balance between being too spongy and too soft. Only wish they had more color schemes. I normally wear 9.5 for New Balance tennis shoes, but needed to go a half size up. Zappos wouldn't honor the coupon I used on them for the exchange, so just returned them and bought elsewhere.

Ordered 4E extra wide but these were not wide enough.

shoe was too stiff. Left shoe felt like it may have a flaw and was a little big. It hurt my foot. It seemed like a good shoe otherwise. Right shoe ok except for the stiffness.

Love the 860. Years of battling foot issues and these are one of the few models that simply work! Arch support without feeling like it has arch support. Just enough cushion without being squishy.

Feel great. Able to walk for long period when I first wore them. Wish they had different colors in my size.

I liked the support in the forefoot during toe-off. I tried the Vongo as well, and this one felt a little more stable. Less soft and bouncy, but more surefooted in general.

Still a good shoe!

These are great shoes, probably the best NB I’ve owned.

Goof fit and size.

I bought several pairs of these Fresh Foam NB shoes just to prove how much I love them.

My husband needed to replace his old pair and I purchased the same style and size, only the fit was too small.

Perfect fit. I ordered 8 1/2 Narrow. They fit perfectly. The only thing I did was remove the laces and reinstall avoiding the center cross lace. They look, Feel, & Wear Great !!!!

The fit was true to size. Material is also very good quality. I was wearing a brand that really wasn’t for me I couldn’t walk a half a mile without my feet hurting me. So I decided to go with these shoes best decision I made super comfortable excellent support. I highly recommend these shoes for all wear

My husband had me return and request these thicker foam NB shoes. He is 6’3” tall and truly appreciates the thicker foam in these shoes.

This is my second pair of the NB Fresh Foam x860v14, so the size was as expected, fit was great. I also like the "Earth Shadow" color.
