The Born sizing seems inconsistent. I have worn anywhere from a 6.5 to 7.5. I ordered these in a 7.5 since I had to size up to 7.5 in the Carreras. These are much roomier, though. A 7 would be a bigger fit but the 7.5 will be good for heavier socks. The purple color is beautiful, nice classic style with a fun color and nice lug sole so not slippery at all.

I usually wear a 8 1/2 - 9, so I purchased these in the suede in 8.5, but they feel just a bit too big. My heels keep coming up out of them. I'm a little hesitant to try the 8, but I might because I like the weight of the shoes (not too heavy) and there is a lot of support in the foot bed which I need. Also, the lug sole adds some height and prevents slipping, unlike smooth soles.

I got this shoe in the purple and it is a gorgeous shoe, but it has a weird gap by the ankle and had to be returned. I consoled myself with the pink Dr. Martins.

I really like these shoes and got them at a great price from Zappos! I don't think Born quality has gone down as some reviewers said, I found them to be very cushy and supportive. I got them in the rust color which seems to be a versatile color.

Wanted to love these loafers. When I looked down they reminded me of men’s slippers. Sending back. Great comfort like a cloud. Just not my style going to try the penny loafers

This shoe is very stylish, but the heel slips on it. I plan to keep the shoe, since the heel does not slip a lot, but I will need to take it to a shoe repair to have them insert something into the heel to keep it from slipping. Other than that, the shoe feels comfortable.

Had to return because it gapped terrible in back of shoe.

I almost couldn't return them. I loved them so much! Great color, the right height, just the sole I wanted unfortunately the fit was too odd for me or my foot was too odd for the shoe. Not enough room in the toe & too long in the back. My toes were cramped while the heel slipped way too much.

I I can wear Born booties (and usually love them) , but rarely do the shoes fit me. These are no exception. The size 9 fits my larger foot and is too large on my smaller foot. The heel picks up on both because the shoes are fairly heavy on me. I typically wear a 9.5 M to N, right in between. I have quite narrow heels. These shoes are pretty stiff suede, and the cognac color seems to have a greenish tinge in my fairly bright house (no lights on). Just not what I had in mind. I'd really prefer a lighter weight sole so it's not like dragging your feet along, and so my feet would stay in the shoes! I'm disappointed and will return them; on with the search.

I found this shoe to be very comfortable, it was a little tight when I first put them on, but by the second wearing they stretched and are just fine. I get lots of compliments when I wear them. I wear a size 8 and the fit was perfect. The sole is nice and firm but not uncomfortable. The suede seems to be of good quality. After wearing the shoes 5 times I have not experienced any heel rubbing or slippage.

I bought these shoes based on color (purple) and the platform, I have arthritis in my toes and need a firm sole. These shoes were a little tight out of the box but comfortable after wearing them once, with no socks or tights. I will purchase another color in these shoes.

This is my second pair of these Capri shoes by Born. Super cute and very comfortable.

I was broken hearted to have to return these. My favorite color. My favorite style. What could go wrong. The fit was not for my foot. The toes were far too cramped & squished together. The heel was too long & extended 1/4 inch beyond my own heel. I couldn't adjust my foot in the shoe to compensate. Amazingly this shoe was too short & too long at the same time. A different size wouldn't have helped with this problem.

Soft and ready to wear right out of the box. Needed a preppier look and wanted a thicker sole.

These shoes are cute but more importantly, incredibly comfortable. They feel a bit larger than my usual 7.5, but with thicker socks they fit fine. Out of the box, was able to walk all day in them!

I love these so much I bought 2 other colors. I never do that. Very comfortable and they look great.

Overall, I like how these shoes look and I always like the comfort I find in any of the Born shoes and boots.,

These loafers are so cute and comfortable except for the narrow toe box.

These shoes were very cute, and if they had fit my foot better, I would have kept them. The support was great and felt that they would have been very comfortable to wear, but the toe box was too narrow and the heel slipped a little. Sad to have to return them.

These shoes arrived just in time for the snowy weather, and for a loafer they are warm and the soles are perfect for the season. On the down side, they are stretchy and my heel slips, which is annoying, but I think the material is the problem. I have been wearing them, for shopping and meetings, but I don't recommend them for lengthy walking. Your foot may feel fine with them, so they're worth a try. I love the style and the cushiness! They look great!

My feet are narrow and run between a 7.5 to 8.5 US. While these shoes are beautiful and high quality, the sizing is way off. My foot would not even fit in so I really can't speak to the comfort, or overall feel, to the shoes, but a rating is required.

These shoes are so cute and quality is good but I tired two pairs and could not get a good fit. Unfortunately, I'm giving up.
