This shoe was almost a keeper, even thought it felt a bit small. But the deal breaker was the noise it made when I walked around the house in it! Another reviewer mentioned the same thing. It's very strange.

A little surprised about the so-so reviews of this shoe though reviews are limited. The shoes were comfortable from the first wear. The back of the shoe, right at top edge did have one small rough spot, like pin head size either end of leather or stitch, I clipped it off and all was good. I have the black, tempted to buy another pair in another color. The arch support is moderate. I did experience the strange squeaking but not the majority of the time, and it seemed sometimes like it was from my foot on insole. Drawback is that they are not made to last at least if you wear them often. So they are still comfortable and I am hard on them, I pronate and already see the heels leaning inward. AND I wish that Born was made as well as they used to be!

Ordered and returned. I am replacing a pair of Keen Mary Jane’s that were phenomenal shoes, very comfy, supportive and sturdy. They finally became worn out, but only on the inside. These shoes just do not match the quality. I’ll keep looking…

The shoes are comfortable, but have to say that they are very squeaky when I walk. It’s not the floor and the shoe, it’s the foot in the shoe. That is the reason I didn’t give a five star review. The squeak is annoying.

Well, there's good news and bad news: Good news is IF these would have fit, they would have been cute, comfy, and exactly what I was looking for. Bad news is I apparently and unfortunately wear a 9.75 N (which doesn't exist other than on my feet). These 10s were huge and far too wide. My guess is the 9.5 would be too short...and maybe even still too wide. Too bad.

I usually wear either a 9.5N or 10N. The 10 was WAY too long and wide and the 9.5 was too short. Didn't work at all.

I bought these for my mom. She is a Born convert. The quality is awesome as always, but I have to agree with other reviewers..the fit is weird. The left shoe is significantly larger than the right, and the right was tight, rubbing her toe. It must be a fluke with this style. I'm returning these and looking for a different style. Still buying Born, though!

Dowdy looking on me and like someone else mentioned, the one shoe made noise like the sole was moving as I walked. Returning.

I loved the look of these shoes, but...They were stiff, the toebox wasn't roomy, and they were a bit tight overall. I wish they'd worked, but no.

This shoe has a wide, round toe box that I was searching for. Unfortunately, the top of the heel dug into the back of my ankle and was a deal breaker. The shoe is also surprisingly heavy.

loved these but the heel was too wide and slipped up and down at every step.....toe box was nice and felt great, even though I have an extra long second toe...also the instep strap was very tight....only one hole in the strap and could have punched another and would have had the heel not been so wide....for the style, these looked almost dainty!

I have a bit wider than medium feet, and these are a bit too wide. The heel is very rigid and digs into my heel, which is too bad. I think if it were more flexible these would be just fine.

The shoes are not well made especially the buckle. The buckle hardly seems leather and the holes to tighten were not punched.

Loved the shoes, too bad they did not fit. Too short but too wide especially in the heel area.

These shoes are cute but not comfortable. They rub on my heel and along the top. Wish I could return them.

These shoes are beautiful! They were everything I was looking for.... a cute stylish Mary Jane that had good support that I could wear all day with plantar faciitis. Unfortunately the sizing was off, the 8.5 was way too tight so I exchanged for the size 9 which was huge. Disappointed I had to return both pair. Still searching for something that is as supportive and stylish...

The shoes felt unnecessarily heavy. I wish Born would reissue the lighter weight, slightly dressier blue mary jane from several years ago. I wore them out!

These were exactly what I was looking for. Love the brand. However, the vertical back of the shoe is angled inward so they dug in to my heel. A disaster of a blister waiting to happen. Sadly, returned.

7 1/2 too small. 8 too large! Style was perfect. Manufactured well!
