I got these for my husband and we both loved how bright and colorful these are. He really loved the fact that it had a nice, thick, cushioned heel. Unfortunately, because he has flat feet, the shows didn't offer him enough support. He said it was actually painful because his insole was practically touching the thick ribber side of the shoe. I wish I could wear them, but unfortunately they're too big for me.

The heel cushion was good, and the arch support was very good for my high arches. But the overall construction and materials were marginal. The shoe isn't as structured as I hoped it would be. My impression is that it won't wear very well, and will look really puckered. It also doesn't look quite as good as the pics. The bottom is gray, not white, and the upper is darker than the images. Not a bad pair of shoes, but not what I'm looking for, so I returned them.

Returned and exchanged the first pair cause they run small I ordered a size 10 and exchanged them for 10-1/2 so buyer beware go a half size up that's why I gave them 3 stars I'll update my review to see if they pass the comfort test.

Seemed comfortable but felt every pebble and rock. I would size down seemed to run big. Ankle support was good. Color was fun. Overall not a fan..

I think they are a decent pair of shoes, just not for me. The inserts constantly moved around when I would run or walk. My feet always wanted to slip from side to side as well. But I still do believe the shoes could work for someone else.

I just received the new morphlite shoes. Upon opening it, the color is totally different than what the website displays. The upper portion is a darker gray and the side/sole part is like a brown/gray type color. Very disappointed in what Merrell is showing on their website. This shoe is very dark in person. I highly dont recommend this MONUMENT color they call it. Also the shoe isn't comfortable. I will be returning this

BE WARY, THIS SHOE IS NOT TRUE TO SIZE, IT IS EXTREMELY NARROW. I do not have an especially high volume/wide foot, and I wear size 10 in almost all my shoes. But this shoe killed my pinkie toes. It fit kinda like the UA slipstream for reference. This may be to compensate for another issue with the shoe... The heel counter sucks. I noticed a lot heel slip, but it's too tight of a shoe to combat with a runners knot. Despite all of these issues, I am just going to exchange the shoe for a larger size. I appreciate the fully gusseted tongue and (although cheap) mesh on the shoe. The shoe's material isn't especially plush but offers a tight lockdown (other then in the heel). I appreciate the outsole that has "flex grooves" in it, however I am not sure why they made them more vertical rather than lateral so I do not think they will do as much, however where the outsole is, its in all the right places, at the end and at the toe off of the shoe. From my limited experience with it (I did not run or walk) the foam seems in a sweet spot for daily miles on and off the road, its not excessively soft or bouncy, and it will not mush around your foot on the trails. I think the outsole would work well on fireroads and dirt trails but I wouldn't use it much for rocky/ gravel ones. Overall, with a drop of 6mm, and a pretty neutral foam and rocker, this shoe probably would feel fine with heel and forefoot strikes, though the heel bevel may be a little klunky at slow speeds. This shoe definitely could take slow and fast paces especially with the nice low weight. I am excited to get a pair that actually fits me so I can take this budget friendly shoe on all sorts of adventures through, snow, dirt, and on concrete as far as my legs can take me.
