I find these to be the perfect balance between rugged trail and cushioned road shoes. Great weight and still provide traction and support. When running on roads, I usually use GT-2000's and it's easy to transition to these. Sometimes I find myself favoring the Trabuco's on all surfaces!

Perfect fit. I've tried Hokos and Brooks, but they both cut into the inside part of my feet. Not so with these. Best running shoe purchase I've made.

Awesome shoes I have worn many asics and have many pairs. These currently are in my rotation as my favorite.

Gel Trabuco always fits perfectly right out of the box. I get a new pair every year (I put about 1,200 miles on each pair per year) and make the old pair my yardwork shoes. They're built to last!

fits better than last model. feels very technical and stable. i wish it has more cushion but less than the max

I did a 10k trail race this past weekend with my new shoes- they did very well. Good traction, responsive ride.

I bought this shoe for two of my 20ish year old sons for christmas, both of whom are runners. They loved the fit, comfort and grip. The reviews were so positive I ended up buying the same shoe for my husband, other son and myself. Highly recommend.

Excellent after a few miles. The protective toe guard bugged me until it softened up. I have toes that angle up. I love them.

This shoe has worked great for me on some longer trail runs. 5, 8, 11 miles and no issues at all. I don't even think about them, I just go run.

I have been buying ASICS for 30 plus years, bought this shoe because I thought it would hold up in a gym environment. 40yr soccer player so cant run much anymore

This was my second pair of this model, a shoe I had truly loved. However, although I ordered the same size, this new pair feels entirely too small. Its very disappointing!

Excellent show I wear it in the the gym for weight lifting and cardio. Even better as an everyday shoe if you walk a lot at work or for outdoor exercise.

The Trabuco-Gel 12 doesn't provide as secure a gripping fit in the heel as the Trabuco-Gel 11, but is still a pretty good shoe. I'm not sure if the weight has changed but they feel lighter on my feet than the 11. I tend to give grudging reviews so let me continue that practice ;) but still give the Trabuco-Gel 12 a solid 4 out of 5 stars.

After miles of hiking in the mountains Ive found the GEL-TRABUCO 12 to be the best hiking shoes, with great traction, lightweight, and comfortable.

wore these for the leadville 100 and the bulk of training leading up to it. Got the job done and felt great all 29 hours of it haha.

Perfect fit and look super cool! Usually get Nimbus, but mixed it up this time and happy I did.

Comfortable ultra endurance all dayers. Wore them straight out of the box for an aggressive 13 mile trail run on Saturday and then a 28 miler on Sunday climbing Mount Langley, 14.032' in the Sierra Neveda. My feet were comfortable all weekend. The downside...heavy plodders so I'd never consider wearing them on race day. Another upside, they'd also work as a great hiking shoe.
