I was highly recommended this shoe for running. I've heard that ASICS usually runs wide and they didn't have a wide version of this shoe when I was buying. I bought my usual size, I feel numbness and tingling when I'm on my feet for too long. I can barely even walk in these shoes, so I do not wear these to run. Constricting around the widest part of my foot (the ball of foot). I would return these if it wasn't too late.

I love the stability of the shoes and how well made they are. However, I live in a place where it's warm all year long and they get overheat due to the woven upper. The shoes are also long (great for those with wide feet at the top) and the insoles are too slippery for me.

Fit and quality are fine, but these are more specialized running shoes compared to the running shoes and cross trainers I usually buy. I didn't like the 'break over' in a walking stride.

I read a few articles that said this shoe had excellent arch support. The first step I took my whole inner foot collapsed. It was no better than the current shoe I own, in fact might be worse.

I hate these shoes but I have to keep them because I wore them. Well after 2 weeks of trying to break them in they are still way too hard and stiff. I had been loyal to ASICS for too long. Their heels are getting sloppier and toe box narrower. Their uppers are as hard as cardboard. Maybe I can break them in for a dog walking shoe.

I've had previous versions of the novablast and I really loved version 3. The update to version 4 is too soft and also too clunky. The stability has improved with each model, but they are just not as light or fun as the previous versions.

Nice shows but deteriorate quickly if you run often (holes form in shoe cloth). Also the light purplish color shows dirt very easily (expect them to be brownish even if you don't step in mud piles).

I’ve been an ASICS fan for a while but these shoes are a big disappointment. The style is wide on the foot and quite ugly. I want all black sneakers to wear with black pants to look somewhat professional but these are embarrassing. And, because the tongue is short and made out of a floppy fake material, you have to bend over and unlace these fully all the while holding the tongue to put these on. Finally, these have a “rocker” sole which I found extremely uncomfortable and set my plantar fasciitis off.

I loved the previous versions, especially the Novablast 3 LE, but this is very-very wide. The toe box is way too wide, and my heel is also moving, sliding out of the back no matter how I tie the shoes. It's a pity, as the cushioning is fabulous (better than the previous version). If I go down a size, it pushes on my big toe. The really frustrating part: ASICS does not allow customers to return shoes they wore for even a single trial run outside (BEWARE!). Donation bin?

I absolutely loved Novablast 2 & 3, so when the 4th version was coming out I couldn't wait! The color schemes this time around aren't my favorite, but overall I was super excited. And then disappointed when I put them on. The Novablast 4 does not seem to have as much support as the previous two versions and the cushioning feels worn even though they are brand new. I received these as a gift for Christmas and I really can't exchange them- just really disappointed honestly.
