I ordered these to replace a pair of Asics which were comfortable from day one but ready to be replaced. I am returning these for several reasons: 1) there is little to no flexibility in the sole; 2) the toe box was narrow and the plastic along the edge that comes up over the big toe doesn't allow for any movement which increases the tightness in the toe box; 3) the lacing and tongue area, after putting the shoe on, are wide apart and give the appearance of my foot being stuffed into the shoe, which is not the look I'm after.

Finally a tennis shoe that feels natural on my foot! I ordered my normal size in sneakers and they fit perfectly. ASICS generally is more narrow than other sneakers and this is no exception. Not too narrow and there is a little wiggle room but not where your foot is sliding around. Playing tennis has never been easier!

The toe box tapers and I needed to go up a full size to get a good fit. I have a narrow foot but like room for my toes. The shoes holds my heel and midfoot firm and provides good lateral support.

Like most ASICS, these shoes are pretty narrow. I like the look of them and they felt great walking around the house. But I’ve now played in them 3 times and the arches of my feet are in pain. I think the materials beneath the heel / arch is inadequate for hard surfaces.

Shoes in general are not the quality that they used to be.

I've been purchasing ASICS tennis shoes for years and years. Now the game has changed - on these shoes the rigid plastic strip over the big toe area confines the foot, makes the toe box too small, doesn't flex. ASICS is making their shoes harder and harder and I'm going to have to move on to another brand. Sad

Awful fit. I could not take them off fast enough.
