I'm returning both = sizes 7.5 & 8. The reviews are correct. My heel slips out of the shoe with every step. Too bad. I really wanted a new pair of canvas shoes.

I love these shoes. IF I could change them it would be to order them in some colors, white is too hard to keep clean, I put them on to walk my dog, and at 86 yrs old they are SO comfortable. I'm going to order another pair in the dark blue. Wish you had a olive green, demim.

I originally ordered these in both colors in my usual 9.5. LLBean had made something quite similar several years ago and ever since they stopped making them I have been on a quest ( unsuccessfully) to find similar replacements in fit and comfort. The 9.5 was too big so I re-ordered in size 9 ( this had been the case with the former LLB product as well) and am keeping these. They are a bit loose in the heel so my heel does slip some, hence the 4star rating. They are comfortable and are my go to warm weather, casual shoe. The old ones I could wear all day walking great lengths such as on a vacation tour or walking all over the city . Because of the loose heel, I'm not sure if I could walk all day in these. That being said, they are the best replacement for the former LLB product which looked just about the same as these Eco Bay shoes.

I'm typically a size 10.5, though I can often wear a size 11 since few companies make shoes in a 10.5. However, the size 11 was too long and too wide. I ordered a size 10. That fit well, except it was too short. My toe hit right at the edge. It's too bad because it's a cute shoe and I wish they made it in a 10.5. It's not my fault my foot grew half a size during my first pregnancy years ago!!

The shoes is fantastic if you have a wide foot. I added an insole and my heel still slipped. Really disappointed. Loved that they were washable.

I bought a pair of these a couple of years ago and love them. I recently ordered a dark blue pair. The fit feels different and they just aren't as comfortable I like them enough to keep but still notice a slight difference.

The quality of the shoes seems good, but they're so much bigger than any of my other size 9 Bean shoes and boots. I won't wear them and I hate returning things, so I'll be donating these to the local thrift shop. I'm sorry, as I really like the design and the color.

Shoes work well with skirts/dresses, pants & shorts but no structure or support. Like going barefoot except your feet are in contact with the shoes, not the ground. I put inner soles in but they are still floppy. I'm keeping them for times when I don't want sandals & wont be walking much.

I have worn a size 9 for 40 years, and this is the first pair of shoes in size 9 that didn't fit properly! They are too loose in the heel area and slide off my feet. I wore them once and fell when they slid off my feet! I will never wear them again. I don't want to go to the trouble and expense of returning them, but I am unhappy with the purchase!

Too floppy when new. OK after I washed them. They still look big.

Fair. At the instep there is an uncomfortable point where the linings of the heel and toe come together but are not connected. This causes, for me, an uncomfortable point that rubs against the foot. Almost to a blister.

The shoes are OK, but not great. I bought them because I want a flat canvas shoe, and they are indeed flat. They tend to slip off too easily, and could be a bit more tight in the heel. I wish the sole was a bit thicker with some give to it. The inner fabric is sturdy but I'd like it to be smoother. It's a good-looking shoe.

Just what I was looking for, but as others have stated felt large and heel kept slipping off especially on right foot, so went down a 1/2 size and bought some heel grips which worked well so I kept the shoes because they are a great color and look nice but something is really off about the sizing on these shoes.

I love the shoes however slip on shoes at LL Bean run somewhat big on me at the ankle, unfortunately had to send them back. However I am very glad to see LL Bean is now selling half sizes.

I had a previous version of this shoe and loved them, but after three years of much use they needed to be replaced. These shoes seemed to be mostly the same, but the heel slips constantly even though the shoe was the right size everywhere else. Very sad they didn't work, but I did find a different LLBean shoe that I think will pass muster.

I have these in leather, so figured the canvas would be good too, but it wasn't so sure I got him two different sizes. Had to return them both.

I've worn these shoes for years. However, when I received them they didn't fit right. I sent them back and ordered a smaller size. they STILL didn't fit correctly. Also, the quality of the shoe was poor.

I have been buying what I thought was this sneaker for several years now. This is NOTHING like the ones I have bought in the past. The construction and components of it were shoddy. The heel was so wide, I could not keep the shoe on when I tried to walk in it. The sneaker style LL Bean has sold in the past has been my go-to shoe all summer for years. I've always bought them in two colors. I'm so disappointed that they've changed. I'll miss those shoes. Makes me sad.

I have worn the same size LL Bean shoe for over 30 years. This shoe does not fit the way all my other Bean shoes did. It is way too wide!

Yes, they slip on mainly because the heel width is so wide that the sneaker slides right off your heel as you walk.

I have previously had 4 pr. of similar Bean Sneakers in different colors. They all fit properly. This new variety are too large in the length and the toe box. My foot just slips around. I was so hoping for new sneakers that were perfect. I will continue to wear the old ones, holes and all.
