Ive been on an endless search for a tennis/pickleball shoe with a roomy toe box that I dont have to size up in length for, but also one my heel doesn't slip out of. I have a pesky 1st MTP joint (big toe) that gets annoyed with anything too tight or a material too unforgiving on the upper. Ive tried all of the recommended brands for a wider foot and other brands in a wide size. These were comfortable right out of the box, no break in time, easy to get on and off, and dont look awful. Win. I did buy the wide in these vs the medium. I took my normal athletic shoe size (I'm a true 7.5 for dress shoes but took an 8)

I have been looking for sneakers that do not have a heightened heel and these shoes are flat. After many years of back trouble and a spinal fusion, I have discovered that any elevation of the heel exacerbates the pain. A heightened heel tips me forward and puts stress on my back. With these shoes, my center of gravity is where it should be and my body is not constantly having to fight an unnatural stance. In addition to that, the moment I put these shoes on, they fit comfortably. I actually went shopping all day and even took my old shoes with me in case these gave me any pain but, I ended up wearing them all day. I noticed that some of the Fuel Cell options do have an elevated heel so be aware of the heel height. One of the reasons that I like Zappos is because most of their shoe descriptions do include the heel height. I hope New Balance continues to make this sneaker.

I first ordered a 7.0 Wide (D) even though my suggested size was 7.5 - I should have listened. It was super easy to exchange, though, and I ordered the 7.5 EE, which are great. The shoe is stiff, but I'd expect that with a court shoe. I played volleyball in them last night and had no issues. it's also nice to have a mostly white shoe without a lot of gaudy gross colors!! finally.

The upper material was stiffer than expected. These shoes did not fit because the material did not have enough stretch.

I’ve had multiple NB in Wides and these are not wide. This shoe is for a narrow foot. I couldn’t even stand after putting them on.

I have been looking for a sneaker that has zero heel elevation. I have had back problems for years and I have decided that much of the problem is attributable to an elevated heel height. I came to that conclusion when I noticed that whenever I wore shoes with a higher heel, my back complained. From the moment I put these on, they fit perfectly. There was no break in time to adjust to my foot shape. Thank you, Zappos, for including information regarding heel rise when shopping for shoes. With these shoes, my center of gravity is where it should be and I do not feel like my upper body is tipping forward. Thank you New Balance for the production of these shoes and I hope they will continue to be available.

I really liked the way these shoes looked, but alas, they did not fit well. I ordered a 6.5 wide, but they felt like a 6 regular. Tight in the toe box, but then the heel felt wide and felt like they were slipping while walking. Had to return. Wish there were more options for wide court shoes.

I loved earlier versions of these for my 2E feet, but these were just not wide enough. This style has leather at the widest point of the foot, and that is less giving than canvas in that spot. I am a true 2E, usually size 7.5. In these, it would have been 8, but they were just not wide enough.

Length/width was okay, but shoe was not comfortable. Felt heavy.

Very tight, struggled to get on! Gave up and returned. Nice looking though!

There is NO arch support. I have an average arch and due to lack of support my ball of my foot and heel hurt. No idea why they made these so flat footed. Going to return.

This show looked exactly like what I was looking for. However, despite it being marked as 8 1/2 extra wide (my normal shoe size) I had trouble getting the shoe on and it was way too narrow. Too bad because I really like the look of this shoe. I had to end up keeping a very unattractive and heavy shoe because it was the only other extra wide width court shoe.

I have a slightly narrower foot and these fit perfect. The material is flexible and not too tight and the bottom feels sturdy. I bought them because some other reviews said they ran a little narrow. I have tried on about 10 pairs of tennis shoes before finding these. Very excited to play in them.

I had to go up a whole size, but then the shoe fit great. At first the arch felt a little uncomfortable for my flat feet, but after an hour of playing tennis I must've broken them in well enough and they felt very comfortable.

These shoes are amazing! This is my first pair of recovery shoes and they really do make a difference after long pickleball sessions or long/intense walks. I have high arches and wide feet, these feel very secure and supportive: women’s 8 (medium). I don’t really care what they look like (Style) since they’re a recovery shoe, but the black/blue color combo is fun and vibrant. I’m so glad I finally tried these!

Shoes are great but they go size smaller. Going to get another pair as soon as I get my refund.

Love these, and just as expected. I always insert my own orthotic inner sole, so get a size up.

Normally I wear a 9EE, but these are tighter in the toe box. I'll probably order a 9 1/2 next time.

I like these for playing tennis in. I like the colors and the way they look, they are just a bit tight on my foot and I am hoping they will stretch out.

I usually love New Balance because of the usually roomier toe box. This shoe was not roomy in the toe box. It actually felt tight. Usually my New Balance are comfortable right out of the box but these were actually uncomfortable right out ot the box. I tried to walk in them in the house to get some give in the shoe but it was apparent fairly quickly that they weren't going to be comfortable on my foot. The length felt true to size and I love the style/color but very disappointed that New Balance has changed their usual fit. Maybe order a wide if you are looking for a generous toe box.

These shoes look great, however, the to area is tight in the height, not the width.

These sneakers arrive literally feeling a size smaller than they should have.

These shoes were quite stiff and uncomfortable for my feet. I liked the color though. Going back.
