Comfortable, Soft, Sturdy. Feels high quality. I wore with socks and without and felt good doing both. I have slim feet, and the fit was good and true to size consistent with my other LL Bean shoe purchase. The leather shoestrings slide easily thru the grommets for a "pull-tight" fit that is just as easy to loosen. After 1 week on beach vacation, one set of leather strings did fray significantly, but the shoe itself has no signs of wear. I love em.

Very comfy and I love the style. Can wear them for almost any occasion. Fantastic for the summer.

These shoes just arrived today and I couldn't wait to try them on. They are extremely comfortable and look like boat shoes but feel like my cushioned running shoes. I usually shy away from purchasing shoes online, but glad I ordered these shoes. I normally wear a 10.5 in running shoes and 10 in dress shoes and purchased the 10 and they fit perfectly.

This might be the ugliest pair of shoes I've ever owned but gosh darn are they comfortable! The colors of all the materials kind of clash and look sloppy. Comfy tho. Purchases like this remind me of the fact that as I'm aging, I'm losing bits and pieces of my soul every day. What's next? Pleated khakis?

Very comfortable shoes BUT as others have said the tongue is too short!! Makes it hard to slip on and if it's not right it's very uncomfortable!!! Reason why I dropped a star.

The shoe fit is spot on. But I would like to request that the tongue be lengthen 1 inch or sew in nylon pull straps.

Good support, comfortable. Did prefer previous version that was all leather. The nylon tongue is a slight issue when putting on compared to the leather.

These look good in the catalog but they don't look or feel the same in person. Sort of cheaply made.

I find these shoes very uncomfortable. I hope that "breaking them in" will improve their comfort

Nice looking shoes, but not as comfortable as Ecco, New Balance, Sketchers, or Kisik.

The shoe is not as good as previous versions. Much is cloth and dye rubs of on my sock.

Cheap construction-mostly canvas, and brown dye that stained socks---absolutely NOT up to L.L.Bean standards !!! Shoes were returned for refund after one day's wear.
