Fits like a comfortable glove, protecting what is most needed for fun hiking-healthy feet!

Comfortable, with sturdy support for the ankles. Good grip on the soles. Surprisingly, it is slightly warmer than the all leather work boots I had bought from LL Bean, which could be good or bad, depending on the climate.

Wanted some everyday boots that could handle this nasty winter in the city with all the salt, ice, and slush, and be comfortable on my size 14 feet. These fit the bill perfectly!

These boots are super comfortable and true to size. I could wear these all day long and never even think about them being hiking boots because they are so comfortable. Probably some of the best hikers I've ever worn.

Bought these boots 4 days before going on a 10 day camping trip to Wyoming. Very little break in time and wore them 12-14 hours each day. Extremely comfortable. Kept my feet dry. Best purchase I have made this year.

bought these for a cruise to Alaska for hiking and general outdoor use. Very comfortable, give good support and grip wet surfaces well. Sized pretty much right on. Long term durability yet to be determined

These look good and fit well. They were purchased because they claim to be waterproof and I haven't had a chance to test this out yet. If they don't work as advertised, I'll submit a revision

I purchased these shoes specifically for a trip to Iceland. We toured a glacier tunnel that was wet and slushy. The guides said that since they were high top boots I shouldn't get wet feet. They were correct! These boots were very comfortable for hiking also. I order my regular size 11-1/2 and the fir perfectly.

Very comfortable. Good quality at a very reasonable price. Be careful about sizing, though. I wear a 9.5 in most shoes and these are 8.5.

I bought these for a trip to Iceland in March, and they were everything I hoped they would be. Iceland was an amazing trip, though it was wet and cold, my feet were always comfortable. Good socks helped too.

Most recently purchased the Access Hiking Boots ......2 pair. One black and one greenish. Glad I did they fit so well. These boots get close to the Trail Model Hiker of which I own two at the moment.....for my cross walk guard job that I get more than 10,000 steps between two shifts love the trail model hikers. Back to the Access Hiking Boots which felt real good right out of the box. So ordered the black pair out of fear that Bean might discontinue the access hikers. This has happened for reasons unknown. Bean has assured me the access hikers would not discontinued anytime soon. I say the access hikers should sit next to the trail model hikers till death do we part. Yes indeed real fine footwear.

These hikers are very comfortable for every day use and has the perfect balance of cushion to reduce impact on your joints but enough support that your foot doesn't roll out. With that said, they are a little warm even in the winter months but not too hot that cannot be worn in the Spring and Fall too.

This shoe is very comfortable. I wear an 11 1/2 and it fits with plenty of room in the toe box. This is my go to walking shoe.
