I've always worn 8.5 US, so I ordered 7.5 on the mimics. Perfect fit with thin socks. I also have 6" Bean boots that I ordered an 8 US. Perfect fit with thick winter socks for Michigan winters. Leather tops are very stiff when new. I used "Brooks Proofide" leather treatment that Brooks recommends for their leather saddles, worked it in really good and flexed leather throughout process. Did a great job. Still stiff, but not nearly and nothing that wearing them and breaking in won't solve. Great shoes. Probably last a lifetime.

Thanks to Charlottesville store personnel, I got the perfect fit (they run big). Very comfortable w/o socks, just what I needed for early morning dog walks in wet grass. Classic: I recall a hockey club teammate with a pair ~50 yrs ago.

I'm really impressed with quality and versatility of these Mocs. They are stylish enough to wear out on rainy days and functional enough to travel with easily. They are very comfortable and great value for the money.

I bought my first pair of these mocs 20 years ago and still wear them, but thought it was time for an upgrade so I bought another pair to keep at my side door. Quality is top notch. I mean, seriously, who else has a pair of shoes that lasts for 20 years???

Great quality long lasting. As others have mentioned sizing is an issue. I needed 2 sizes smaller than normal shoe size. Best to try-on if possible before purchasing.

The Moc is great. A must have. Be careful with sizing. I measure at 101/2 but had to get a 9w(EE) for the perfect fit. Even the 9 was a bit roomy.

These are the legendary mocs based on the legendary Bean Boots. I bought the traditional "gum" color. What else need to be said? The removable/replaceable insole has been beefed up and improved, so that's good. There's enough room for a pair of wooly winter socks. The price has gone way up over the years, but prices for everything have gone way up!

These arrived quickly. They are as good or better than they've always been. Great, utilitarian shoes and very comfortable. Trust the guidance- these run large- probably a full size. These are classics!

Original order was for a size nine, one size belos my usual. They were way too larga. A phone call resulted in a sesmless return and a size smaller. It took only ten days total. Great service.

Bought this for my husband, and he said they're good on flat ground, but not on rocks or uneven ground.

Believe them when they say there is an entire size difference btwn what you wear and what you should buy!!! I was wary b/c bunions make normal sizes uncomfortable; but I should have dropped a whole size, not a half size. Not clear to me why they do this.

In a lot of ways these are a 5 star product. But the fit for me is challenging. So they are a 4 star, that I love like a 5. They are the ultimate slip on and off while you have stuff in your hands garden shoe. Perfect dewey mornings and all day. The moc style retains less heat than any other waterproof or rubberized shoe I've had. I love that. No swamp feet. The rubberized base and elevated heel have also been amazing while hose and brush scrubbing a basement and garage floor. And they have been surprisingly comfortable even hours in to walking around in them. However, these are not a natural fit for me, but I'm making them work. I wear a mens 11 or 10.5/ depending on the shoe/boot fit. I have fairly narrow feet, medium arches, and am a super pronater. These really aren't the fit for me. They are wide and floppy, and while the insert is supportive in the arch, they aren't designed to keep pronaters feet and ankles up right. So I got a size 10 and it was completely floppy on my foot and thought no way. But I have been able to break them in and make them work. You must use the moc laces. Tighten them pulling from the back to front and pulling them tight. Where them around for a day, stretch things out, and tighten again. These have really broken in and I've been able to tighten them enough to conform enough to my feet. I love them! But wish the fit was a little more natural for my feet.

Mike and his crew did a wonderful job on the mocs! I always order 1 and half from my normal shoe size. Works to perfection.

I have written the last 3 years to Bean asking that they make a shearling lined Moc. No response. They made it for women. It would be a very nice addition!
