These boots were difficult to put on. A pull tab in the back might help. I returned them.

I found them heavier and hard to put on. Also chunkier in the sole than I wanted, seemed disproportionate to the top.

Unusually wide heel pocket causes lots of heel slippage and irritation, consequently not very comfortable or practical for wearing more than a few minutes at a time.

I was hoping these boots would be a good choice for winter wear when snow was not too deep or to wear driving or doing errands. Unfortunately, I found these to be very uncomfortable and cumbersome to get on and remove. I've been spoiled with the "slip on" shoe trend where you walk into the show and easily remove. I have always had great things to say about LL Bean products and I'm sorry these did not work out.

This boot has an ultra wide opening that makes it move up and down on your foot while walking. The feeling is the boot is not secure or could slip off. I ordered my normal size 9 and toes fit well. It's the opening that is too wide which makes the top of boot feel loose. I'm not expecting a snug fit but the movement is way too much and makes me not want to wear them. Similar style from other brands don't move nearly as much.

The boots weren't satisfactory because they were very heavy.

This boot does not have an outside strap in the back like LLBean boots. I could not get them on

I bought these boots with high expectations based on the reviews and build quality. While they look well made, I experienced toe numbness twice during regular use. This suggests a fit or circulation issue that made them uncomfortable for me. Comfort is essential in a boot, so unfortunately I won't be keeping them.

I purchased these exact shoes/boots approximately 14 months ago and the souls on the right foot are coming off. I contacted customer service and they wanted me to send these back for evaluation. I thought that was not an acceptable thing and I thought they would send out a new pair of the same and send back the old. I've been a long customer for L.L. Bean and I thought this was really a bad thought. I will show you what has happened and I'm not satisfied at all. I'm going to order the same similar quality. boots from lacrosse boots and maybe they will be a better quality. Very dissatisfied.

These boots are almost impossible to put on. They were described as "slip on". I have three other styles of slip ons and they all have an external loop at the back to help putting them on. The Hybrid Wellie does not have an external loop. The elastic material in the ankle area of the Hybrid Wellie has almost no flexibility. The combination of the absence of an external loop and the inflexibility of the elastic material makes these boots a bad design. I would rate these has one star or lower.

These boots are extremely poorly made. The right boot is significantly wider than the left as you can see in the photo. Will be returning

The boots seem nice and look great. But they are not true to size. I probably need the next size up.
