Customer Reviews New Balance Fresh Foam X 880v14

I originally ordered a size 6.5 xw. It felt just right with a little toe space at the end. But when I wore them with socks, I found they fit a little too snug for comfort. So I ordered a 7 ew and these feel more comfortable, although the left foot is slightly too big. That's only because my right foot just a hair longer than the left foot. They don't slip off though, so these are a keeper. The soles have a nice cushion to them, which I love. I don't wear tennis shoes on a daily basis except to the gym, but my podiatrist wanted me to buy good tennis shoes for everyday use due to pain from a morton's neuroma which was removed, but it still hurts after the surgery. These tennis shoes do help my foot pain, doesn't eliminate the pain but it's much better.

These fresh foam new balance shoes are super comfortable. First I tried 8W, too short These are 8.5 extra wide and they're just right. Never tried extra wide before.

The shoes looked great but I ordered a WW and it was not wide enough. I also ordered a half size bigger than I usually wear and my big toe hit the end of the shoe ,so I am returning these shoes

I usually order 9 (2A if available) in an athletic shoe. These were 9-2A and they felt quite wide in the toe box and a little too big overall. Nice shoes though.

Loved them however after wearing them around the house they felt a bit short and narrow for me. I usually wear 11 M in this brand but these just felt a bit small. So I am returning them for the 12 W . there is no 11 1/2. It feels there there is good support and the arch is great.

The uppers, arch, & fit were not comfortable for my feet. Caused numbness in my foot after wearing in the house for a while. Had to return them.

Not enough support

Fit and size good. Shoe looks very large for a narrow but fits well. Wish the grey color was darker.

Fit was perfect. I wear a 9.5 regular shoe and 10 in New Balance. Plenty of room in toe box. The only problem I had was I am battling a tendinitis in the outside of my midfoot and that area was a little sore by the end of the day in them. Otherwise, a great shoe.

I usually order Asics shoes, but wanted to try these for a change. They just don't feel as comfortable to me, so I will order Asics in the future.

Love the shoe. I always wear a 9.5 in New Balance, but this was short in length. Got a 10, and think they will be great

Just bought a pair of the 1080v13 in an 8.5 B and the fit was perfect. These 880v14 are too short.

I ordered half size larger than I usually wear but the shoes were too small and not wide enough even though I ordered WW.. I loved the look but I had to return the shoes

The 880 has been redesigned since I last purchased it two years ago (the tongue is now connected to the shoe with elastic bands), making it extremely uncomfortable for my very wide, high-arched foot. I had to return it. Very disappointing! Also, I chose the light grey, which was much closer to white than I had expected.

Very cushy. I have a very narrow foot and high arch. The 2A is wider than Brooks. There is very little arch support and I found my ankle rotating inward.

I love the look of these shoes, and the fact that they have a toe box that isn't tapered. I was hoping they'd fit similarly to my NB 877 V 1 shoes, but they don't. The pair I tried was a little shorter inside, making my big toe touch the end. Darn!

Once again, when New Balance makes a wider width, they widen the toe box but not the instep. Very disappointing.

I purchased a 9 1/2 W and found these just were not comfortable. Certainly not wide!

Fit and size perfect. Color unacceptable. I refuse to wear cloth shoes in colors so light they always look dirty!

Fit and size were great. Color no good, too light, would look dirty before I walk out the door.

I love everything about them except the color. If I wear cloth shoes this light in color, I manage to have them looking dirty by the time I walk out the door. So I am returning them and ordering the same style and size in a darker color. Hurrah!

Tried a different New Balance fresh foam. Went back to the NB fresh foam X more. For me it fits better, provides more support, and comfort.
