Felt tight

I really wanted to like these boots. I have had other Orthofeet shoes and sandals. But, even with the recommended Orthofeet orthodics in them, the arch support is not good. Also, the tongue is narrow and does not allow for much adjustment for any ankle pressure points. Lastly, I could not get them to tie firmly at the top like most real hiking boots do. Very disappointing.

Too wide for me. Didn't like heel.

The material on the top of the boot was flimsy . Not sturdy enough for me. Sent back immediately.

I have high arches and extra-wide feet. It is almost impossible for me to find a boot that works. I had high hopes for this brand but was disappointed. I wish I had paid more attention to the reviews that said the toe box was narrow. I bought a EE (extra wide), half a size UP and my toes were still squished wearing just regular socks, not thick ones. This is not the brand for extra-wide feet. I'm going to have to look at boy's/men's now.

Fabulous shoes. Fit perfectly with hiking socks. Comfortable as soon as I put them on, and wore them comfortably all day. Definitely water resistent.

Very happy with this purchase. Did not have much break in time before hiking and they were secure and comfortable from the get go. Changeable arch supports are a great bonus!

As a previous reviewer stated, they need no break in time. They felt comfortable right from the start. After hiking many miles in the boots, my feet never hurt.

I love this boot. Very comfortable, great arch support. They are not heavy on your feet, but feel substantial, and they look good too!

I got the last pair in my size. I am so happy with these boots. They are dark olive with purple trim, which really makes them sort of a neutral. Very nice looking, but I bought them for comfort. I just recently returned from a 3 mile walk, and these boots were comfortable the entire walk. Highly recommend.

Get your regular size it is great fit.

I've ordered several pairs of OrthoFeet in order to find a pair that really fits my foot. They all feel larger/wider - I think this may have something to do with the misconception that larger sized feet for women (11.5 M) are...wide. This isn't correct. I have a narrow heel and need a wide toe box but not an overall larger feel. The support from the sides of these boots wasn't adequate unless I had wide feet; even in the Med width. I appreciate this companies attempts at making reasonably priced shoes in my size; perhaps summer sandals and tennis shoes will work. I will keep trying.

I loved the way that these supported my arch and fit the rest of my foot. They were nice and comfy. Unfortunately, the toe box was too narrow so I felt like my big toe would rub. I don't have wide feet so I was disappointed.

These boots were too wide for my foot. I really wanted to keep them but the extra roomy foot area was too much and could not be fixed with tightened with the laces. I am a medium width, not narrow.
