First thing I noticed about the difference between these and the clubs is the sole plate has wider gaps between rubber "studs." But I don't think it sacrifices any grip on the ground. It might have less ball control for sole-rolls though. Otherwise, the ball grip and comfort is great. For sizing, go off the heel-to-toe measurement in the size chart. Its accurate.

Seek good quality, just a bit on the tight side for me considering I've been buying this size for about 20 years in predators.
