Only the left shoe arrived. I donated the right , with Zappos permission. $150.00 was supposed to be put back into my account, and a $25 credit in my account. Neither has happend. This shoe is still out of stock in my size. I wastill going purchase these shoe from the local Birkenstock dealer in Portland, where I always go, but was told Zappos was better...not true, sadly.

Love the leather insole. Stays cleaner than other Birkenstocks with the suede insole.

I normally wear a women's size 7 or 37 EU size. I followed the size suggestions and ordered a 38. The size fits perfect. I watched the video on how to fit the Birkenstock correctly and it worked. 1st open the strap place your foot into the footbed, then adjust the strap. Shoes are very comfortable, the first time I had to reposition the foot until I found the right foot position. The sandals look amazing on. The big buckle gives it an elegant touch. So far I wore the sandals with jeans, shorts and to pilates and they look very stylish, I catch people looking at my feet everytime I wear my Birkenstocks Gizeh Big Buckle. Definitely my go to 2022 summer sandals. 2nd time ordering from Zappos and I have to say, super fast delivery, very impressive.

These are so pretty and comfortable, however, I didn’t like the coating on the footbed. It felt like plastic and was uncomfortable.

When these shoes arrived I was so excited. They are super cute and stylish! I have never had the Big buckle. I was kind of bummed because I saw that they had the soft foamish footbed. I don't like the ones on my water Birks but these are different. the material looks similar but it's not the same cheap material they use on the Gizeh water shoes. This is a better quality and oh, so very comfortable. I had a small piece on the leather strap that was a bit dented, but I decided to keep them anyway. It's not something that's noticeable unless you are looking for flaws. Which I don't want to do, I just want to wear them and enjoy them. And I do enjoy wearing them. I have 5 pairs of Gizeh Birks and love them all, but these take the cake. I'm a 8 1/2 and got a 39. I will say I maybe could have done the 38 because I'm at the tightest it can go and I still have some room. My feet are usually always swelling and it's not been an issue in these, due to the room on the top where the strap is.

The straps were just too wide.

Fit very different width and length compared to the Arizona sandal. The sole/footbed was narrower than the Arizona, yet they're the same size (Women's 39 or 8-8.5US) The thong was uncomfortable also and the straps were very loose.

I loved this shoe the second I saw it...wide straps, cognac leather, oversized buckle...so I was thrilled to see that it came in the wider "regular" footbed. Unfortunately, this footbed is significantly more narrow than a standard Birkenstock regular footbed. I stuffed my foot inside, but not comfortably. I though maybe it was just the strap width, or straps needing to be adjusted, or the unusual footbed lining making it feel different, so I compared it with some of my other Birkenstocks of the same size and it is definitely physically more narrow comparing sole to sole. Really bummed to have to return this one, but I can't wear it.

So disappointed with these. I poured over other reviews and couldn’t find a comment where someone said that the armpit fart sounds that the shoes make each time you take a step would dissipate once the shoes were broken in, and I wasn’t willing to chance it at this price point. I tried both the Gizeh and Arizona and the “issue” was the same. ? Such a shame because the buckles are lovely, I LOVE the leather upper and was looking for a true white. Extremely sad to send back. If the noise goes away after a break-in period, someone please post about this revelation!

The worst fitting sandals I’ve ever tried on. The sole is a hard plastic and nothing like what the picture.

These would be perfect except the foot cover is placed too far back on the shoe. The edge closest to your leg digs into your ankle making it rub and dig when you walk. Very cute but clearly not tested.

Fit true to size. Very comfortable (as all Birks are) but feel a little more elevated and dressy!

Takes a 9.5/40, went one size up based on reviews around the web. Fits perfectly. Heels rest in heel set with no discomfort between the toes because the thong rests only about 3/4 down. It is wide; made to splay the feet, the fourth/last hole up on the strap came in handy here for a secure fit. Could use a bit more arch support. Love them, nonetheless.

I love the Gizeh style. These are my fifth pair, but first with the Big Buckle. They’re comfortable and I love there was no break in period at all…they fit great straight out of the box. I did have to tighten the buckle to the first hole, to fit my narrow feet.

I'm very familiar with this size and style of Birkenstock as it's my favorite fit for my 10.5 sized/wide feet...love the new color...will replace the Dove Grey nubuck version I bought from Zappos a few years ago and wore out!! Like the High Shine as it adds a dressy touch without sacrificing any of the famous Birkenstock comfort

As always, Birkenstocks are comfortable from the first wear!

They were beautiful but due to having a large bunion, they were too narrow.

Love these sandals! They are Birkenstock comfy and supportive AND look beautiful for work or going out. These shoes never slip because the strap sits high on the foot and they don't make the flopping sound (that some sandals do) when walking. They are secure and sleek with just the T shape strap. The big shiny gold buckle is classy as is the high shine leather and black footbed :)

These are pretty comfortable. I haven't yet had the right weather to wear them for a long walk, but indoors all day they seem to be comfortable!

So cute and feminine. Comfy too!

Great sandal. Needs a little breaking in. I had an issue with my delivery but, as always, Zappos customer service was wonderful to work with.
