I wear size S, but I bought XS and it still fits me and it wasn't tight. I liked, but the S would be a little wider. But I liked it and I'll use it anyway. I recommend.

These are great shorts to workout in, the fabric is thin and lightweight. Waistband is supportive and isn't too tight, the length is great too.
