This is NOT wide calf but beautiful boot. Too bad it doesn't zip up.

While these boots are wide calf, the footbed is certainly not wide width. I knew that when I purchased them and thought I could put them on the shoe stretcher. Unfortunately these have a built in arch that cuts into the middle of my foot and no amount of shoe stretching can fix that. These were returned.

These boots fit well aside from a really odd extra long toe area like there was an extra 2 inches of empty space in the point of the boots which made them feel really weird to walk around in. Disappointed.

These are so comfortable and perfect for a wider calf, but unfortunately if you're short, they're very unflattering. These are going straight back. I am a size 8 in boots, but I have been searching for the perfect knee height boot with a skinny heel. However I am petite and these sit at a very awkward length. In addition, if your legs are slightly bowed, they stick out on the side giving this ugly triangle effect. These would have been better if they were straight across the top instead of coming up higher at the top. It's a shame that these need to go back and that shoe companies assume that if you need a bigger size, that you're also of average or of tall stature.
