I purchased my usual 7.5, and while I do feel like that was the correct size, this is a snug-fitting pair of shoes! Assuming that is part of the design - and one of the reasons they look so sleek and elegant. I will be able to wear thin socks or tights, which is what I expected and wanted, but my feet are not wide and I don't have any foot problems that might make the close fit uncomfortable. That said, I've only tried them on at home, and haven't worn them out yet. They are gorgeous otherwise, and I can't wait to wear them. If you have wider feet or toe issues, a half size up or wider width might help.

This is an exquisite ankle boot, beautifully made. However, in my opinion it runs small, both with respect to size and width. I wear an 8 AAA, and this 8N is more like a 7.5 AAAA or Slim.

I almost always wear a 9M in Vaneli boots (and 9 1/2 N in Vaneli shoes). For these booties I needed a 9 1/2 N. They are very attractive and just what I wanted with a higher shaft than a typical bootie and the stretch top. Great for both pants and skirts.

The stitching on top of the right boot shaft is defective, it is coming apart. Also the stitching along the zipper on the right boot was not sewn well. The lining in the boots is synthetic and nowhere does it state that the boot is made of leather.

The fit and style of these boots is beautiful. The heel height was just right. I was disappointed to discover that they are not crafted of genuine suede, as I assumed from the description. They were covered in a man made material. In my opinion, the price is too high for the quality of the materials used.

The fit is true to size for this brand (Vaneli). I already had these in the black and wanted the neutral color too. The top of the bootie around the ankle is soft and fits close to the leg, which I like. Just the right height.

I took my usual Vaneli size in these booties. I already own them in black and like them so much I got them in the taupe. Heel height is just right and the soft material around the ankles is comfortable.
