Like walking on a cloud. Lots of room for a broader foot thats not quite wide enough for a wide shoe.

Im a runner and Ive worn brooks glycerin for years but I dont know what happened with the 21. I cant get past mile 5 with then. My feet are in agony. I thought they needed breaking in so I tried then for a few runs but no good. Others in the running group have had the same issues.

I love Brooks Glycerin always. This time there was a weird seam in the right shoe toe area that took about a week to adapt to. Otherwise, these shoes keep me going. I have a neuroma, and plantar fasciitis that will flare up if I don't wear the Brooks...

I have not worn the Glycerin 21 as much as the 20. I have put them in the rotation. They have more cushion than the 20. The weave on the toe box gives a little more wiggle room Im using them for walking. I liked the blue of the 20 a little more than the 21 but they are pretty similar.

I have been running in Brooks Glycerin for years and have had no issues- until recently. I bought the 21s in July and in a month of wearing them the tongue seam (where the tongue is sewn to the shoe) has rubbed and bruised the top of my foot. Ive tried loosening my shoelaces and adjusting the tongue and its still hurting! I checked my older versions and their seams are all smooth. Unfortunately, Im exchanging these for ASICS Gel-Nimbus 26 as I was told they are pretty comparable to the Brook Glycerin. Kind of heartbroken as Im a huge Glycerin fan. Hoping the Glycerin 22s will be better but for now trying out ASICS.

I am so far impressed with Glycerin 21's(I own 5 pr now). I occasionally have pain and tenderness in metatarsal of right foot due to autoimmune disease swelling. The 21's help to cushion the tenderness and minimize the discomfort of the swelling. I also own many 20's and they are also great but I do need to add my orthotic to them to alleviate the soreness on really bad days.
I have one small issue with the right shoe of the lavender ones I own. There is a small indentation in the toe box of the shoe alongside my right toe which causes some discomfort. I haven't been able to pop out the indentation which is a drag because I tend to not choose the lavender pr to wear as often.
Ladies, the all white, raspberry, orange, lavender colors are so PRETTY ! the black and white are really sharp too!

I like them but not as much as the Glycerin 20- they feel a bit narrower and the cushioning kind of pushes my foot forward in the shoe

I like the cushion but these run so much shorter in length than the previous models of glycerin .
Very disappointed.
I had to return due to short length

This shoe is very comfortable! Fits true to size. I have plantar fasciitis and can easily fit my insert . When my heel acts up, this is the only shoe I can wear comfortably. I wear it to workout in, and it looks great to wear as my daily run around she, too! Highly recommend!

Not sure what is different but this shoe is rubbing the top of my foot raw. So uncomfortable. I keep hoping they will stretch but still not good. I have loved the other Glycerin shoes, so disappointed.

With the Levitate being discontinued, I was looking for another shoe. Unfortunately the Glycerin is not that shoe for me. The footbed is much wider than the Levitate causing my foot to shift and rub against the side. I had to check the box to make sure I did 't accidentally order a Wide. The shoe was comfortable enough, plenty of cushion (but not too much) it just wasn't the right fit for me. I am returning and trying a different style.

I just upgraded from Glycerin 19 and am highly impressed with the increased amount of cushion in the 21. My feet are feeling very happy!!

These have so much support. I disagree with the sentiment that they are a little roomy in the toe box. They're perfect. Please don't change a thing, Brooks.

the most comfortable shoes i've worn hands down!!! i needed them for my job in physical therapy as i'm on my feet 90% of the time, and they leave my feet feeling not nearly as exhausted as with other shoes. These offer great support and are perfect for trail running as well

Sooo disappointed! I was so excited for these, but they seem to run much smaller than any of the previous 3 versions of the Glycerins. I ordered the size I always do, 8. But as soon as I started to move my toes were hitting the end of the toe box. It didnt matter if I tightened the shoelaces more, it kept happening. Also, not sure if its the softer material in the upper, but the whole shoe feels loose and wobbly and doesnt hold my foot in position as good. I gave it 2 starts because the cushion felt very nice!
I will be returning. Trying to decide if I should get the ghost or ghost max because I do like cushioning.

Not like the Glycerin 20. Toe box is more narrow and runs against my baby toe no matter the socks.
Disappointed

Best running shoes ever! Lots of cushion, and super stylish. I did exchange for a 1/2 size bigger, as I thought they ran a little small.
Buy these, you wont regret it!

Nice cushion, but wish the heel was more like the Glycerin 20--the 21 is a bit too puffy and tends to roll in/down without a shoe horn.

I have bought glycerin brooks for about 15 years. They have always fit well and have been comfortable. I was disappointed in the 21's. I felt like there was something hard in the big toe area, or the shoe felt too short. My big toe was hitting something on both shoes. I had to send them back. I loved the 19'th and I still have a pair of the 12's that I wear outside for yard work.

This is my third pair of Glycerins. In the extra wide they continue to be a perfect fit and are extremely comfortable for walking. (Im not a runner). Great shoes !
