I was a Ghost only runner for several years but the 16 didn't work for me. I love the Glycerin 21. I did size up a half size over the Ghost and that made the fit perfect. Additional colors in wide sizes would be nice. I also wear these for work. I'm on my feet in a hospital all day and they make a huge difference in how I feel after a long shift. As always, Brooks customer support is the best!

Excellent shoe. Now have 2 of them. Very comfortable, very supportive and stylish. Only wish my size (11 / wide) came more colors.

Comfortable and well built shoe that does the job. Great for sports or walking around.

Provided the support and comfort for arthritic feet

My brother is th runner, l walk. I have reumatoide psoriasis and is diffucult to move without feeling some kind of pain. I'm vacationing and haven't stop moving. Much less pain, there a feeling of be able to walk with ease and incredible comfortable. Is the best walking shoes( for me ) ever. I'm walking an average of 6 miles a day while vacationing. Thank all the brooks team for giving me back the ability to walk without hasseles.. Love them.

Great shoe, very good comfort and just the right amount of cushioning, not too firm, not too soft. Very happy with them.

Grandson loves these shoes. He's had 3 pair and refuses to wear another brand. He's a big boy and plays football and says they give him great support.

Heel placement felt insecure, foot seemed to slide around in the base. Most likely lighter runners won't experience this I'm 6ft 230. Cushioning is amazing and definitely lowered the impact on the body even from concrete paths.

Great shoe! Definitely will buy again. Was not expecting the product to help the pain in my feet instantly. I was getting corns on the middle outside of my feet making it very difficult to walk. Brooks is like walking on water.

I've worn Glycerins in past years, always brought me relief. The fit to my foot shape was perfect, arch support great, even cushioning thru the outsole. But this model made the ball & metatarsal of both feet hurt -- which I found was caused by the extra curve of cushion in front of the arch that his the ball of the feet, then quickly tapers off to the toes. If the high quality & type of cushion was even across the bottom, gradually tapering to the front, I would've bought 2 pairs. But, it's definitely a generous width across the toes in Wide.

Lightweight, great laces. Could use a bit more cushion.

provides all around support from heal to toe.. better that other models such as ghost and trace. the forward toe has a wider berth which allows for my wider foot to adhere to. superb support through out my foot

They are very soft and would be a 5 star review but for the fact that they are very tight to my foot. I have a long narrow foot and ordered the regular width thinking it should be fine but if you have them on for an extended period they can be uncomfortable. Hopefully they loosen over time.

Size Purchased Mens 10 wide. Great shoe. Good balance of support and cushion. Wide size works well with with my bunion. Primary use is power walking and light jogs over short distances. Over 50 with bad knees and just looking to stay healthy. These shoes keep me moving comfortably. Only drawback is the color selection in wide is very limited. I mostly walk on roads and would love a hi vis color in wide sizes.

Great shoe that's almost there for my needs. I'm going to return and wait for the Ghost Max to go on sale, as it has the extra cushioning that I need. The wide fit of the Glycerin 21 is perfect, and it's an outstanding shoe, just not enough for my tortured knee and hip as a 4.5 mile 4-5 x week walker.

A bit more lateral roll than I like

I love this sneakers. The most comfortable sneaker I've ever bought. Will be buying more of these sneakers in the near future.second pair and there great.

Very comfortable with good cushion and support. Running feels easy on the shoes. Only negative for me is they seem to wear quickly, losing tread faster than other shoes.
