The cushion is big, but it is extremely hard. There is also zero energy return. It feels equivalent to running in work boots. I would spend a little more and get the Hyperion max 2 as they are very soft and great energy return. The launches are also a lot softer and comfier

These shoes were perfect from the moment I put them on. Comfy and so lightweight. The most comfortable shoes I have ever had. Im not a runner, but wear these for everyday use. The cushioning is great.

Ive worn Ghosts exclusively for about 6 years. Recently I tried Hoka Cliftons, Brooks Ghost Max, and Brooks Glycerin 21 with my clear favorite being the Glycerin 21s. I like them even better than my Ghost 16s and 15s. The Hoka Clifton shoes were too spongy and the Ghost Max were not responsive and a little cumbersome.

I have had the Glycerin 20 before, raced in it and got a PB. I intend on making this my race shoe. Like the cushoning and the bouncy effect

After five pairs of the 20 this feels pretty similar. Seems a little tighter in the toe box. Strings were two different lengths which was really aggravating.

Pretty good pair of sneakers, but I was hoping for a softer landing while running

I purchased these after having two knee surgeries. Thus far I have had no issues with them. Unlike Hoka's they are not spongy, nor do I feel my foot moving in the shoe when I push off. Thanks for making an all-black shoe which I wear with dress pants. Brooks, consider making a dress shoe in black or brown. Because comfortable dress shoes are needed in a solid color. Thanks

My first pair of running shoes in years. I didnt know what to expect when I started running with it. Im close to 50 and havent ran in ages. Ive heard great things about Brooks so I decided to give this brand a try. And my doctor told me to start exercising so this shoe has motivated me to hit the pavement. Its been very comfortable and the fit is just right. Ive had it for a month running 2-3 times a week. No complaints so far.

More cushion than the Ghost which I had typically used. I switched to this shoe because the Ghost were wearing out too quickly so we will see if these last longer since I started jogging every day

I have been wearing the Glycerin shoe for the past 8-10 years at this point. While I love Brooks it seems like the shoe quality gets worse each year. $160 for a shoe that I have to replace every 3-4 months.

These are great everyday running shoes for the bulk of your miles. They upper is incredibly comfortable and the DNA Loft v3 cushioning is soft without being mushy and does a great job absorbing the impact from the road. The outsole also provides a lot of grip. The shoes disappear on the run (in a good way). Highly recommend!

I have only ran in Glycerin shoes for the past 3-4 years. I love them.
But the 21 has caused me some issues. The front area of the shoe feels tighter on my foot and even has caused some discomfort.
Not sure what if any changes were made to the shoe but I may have to get a different shoe.

gave it more than it deserved since brooks has always been my go-to shoe. I don't run but walk, and this glycerin 21 is too snug. I have bought 12.5 wide as in previous Glycerin's.
I have not been outside yet but am keeping shoe trees in it while I decide what to do. Give it to Goodwill? Try getting my money back.
What's wrong, Brooks? I see other too-tight reviews of the 21.

Pretty great right out of the box, switched from ghosts to these and appreciate the extra support and cushioning. They feel slightly heavier than the ghosts but can easily tell where that weight is likely helping my knees and back a little more. More colors in the wide options would be great too

Ive always worn ghost. This is my first pair of the Glycerin series. They are really comfortable as far as padding but feel a bit wide. I only work in them, no running. My complaint is the medial toe box collapses with forward pressure on the shoe during gait

I've been walking more and really needed better shoes, because my standard $60 sneakers were not cutting it. I was getting pain, blisters, and other issues. I decided to try Brooks after seeing a sponsored ad in a YouTube video. This is the first time I've spent this much money on shoes and it was worth every penny!! It's like walking on a memory foam mattress, and there's actually enough room in the toe box. These are now my everyday shoe as well as what I use on walks (mostly on pavement).

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
Runs SmallRuns Large
Runs NarrowRuns Wide
Poor SupportGreat Support
Great support for neutral feet. Excellent cushion nothing comes close to Glycerin 21. Been using since 15 version.
One big drawback is, the sole gets worn out super fast in less than 3 months even with moderate walking. Brooks needs to fix this in their next version.
Still the comfort made me buy the stealth version.

Brookes shoes are the best ! I've been wearing this shoes for at least 10 years or more "Super happy "with them . Through the course of one day I put anywhere from 24,000 to 27,000 steps in, at the end of the day my feet and back knees are fine I love wearing the shoe ,it's helps me in my task at work and throughout the day. I Highly recommend the shoes to someone who is on their feet for long extended times throughout the day.
