I am difficult to fit because of a rheumatoid deformity in one foot andI need sturdy support. So I never thought "step-in" styles could work for me. Taking advantage of Zappos' generous return policy, I took a chance and I am so glad I did. These are amazing and I am looking for more. Thanks, Zappos and Skechers!

I bought these to replace my merrell jungle mocs which have been my go to cold weather shoes and I am very happy with them so far. They do feel a bit narrow across the top/arch but they aren't uncomfortable.

These were just the shoes I was looking for. Needed some shoes for working in my yard and garden. They are really comfortable and have good support.

Fit perfectly in my usual Skechers size. I love the neutral color. While I wouldn't wear them for trail hiking because of all my foot problems, they are the perfect shoe to keep at my front door so I am not tempted to run out the door barefoot (something I have been warned against because of foot issues). They go on just as advertised, no bending, easy peasy.

This is my third pair of Hillcrest - Sunapee. I chose this model because the uppers are not made of fabric, which is not suitable for wearing when it's raining or snowing, and the description said it was suitable for trail walking. I wore my first pair while traveling in Japan last spring. Some days I walked 15 miles (mostly paved surface) with no pain or blisters. My first pair is still in good shape, but I decided to buy another in case Sketchers decides to discontinue this particular model. I bought my second pair in a lighter color.
