These were a replacement for a defective previous model. The sole is improved but the Velcro fell apart in a month. Merril is replacing them but what a waste of shipping pairs every other month.

These shoes tick a lot of boxes: minimal lift, wide toe box, good colors and aesthetic and easy on...but considering kids will often wear their few pairs of shoes often and hard, these don't hold up. The quality from Merrell didn't meet my expectations of the brand. Soft material has worn holes, seams came unsealed after a few months.

These shoes are wildly uncomfortable. The laces are sewn in so you can't adjust them. They're made of a stretchy rope so they tighten are you walk. My son has very narrow feet and we had to cut them open because his feet were getting numb while walking. Awful design. Will request a refund.
