Great shoes. Very comfortable and functional. My child loved them. Took them to Yosemite and they did not disappoint.

My daughter got a size 2 in gunsmoke/orange, and they were probably the most comfortable pair of hiking shoes that she tried on. These claim to be waterproof, but I had doubts about whether they would be enough to keep her feet dry on a 5 mile hike through the rain and mud. We didn't keep them for that reason. These would be adequate for most kids, and they are lightweight and more comfortable than a true hiking boot. They appear to have great traction, too, and my daughter has hiked many miles in her Merrell Kids Moab low rise shoes. We decided to keep the Keen Targhee 4 and the Columbia Newton Ridge for her current needs.

Love them! Took these on our trip up to Lake Lake Superior! Light weight, waterproof, comfy! Who could ask for more! Hiked down to waterfalls and hunting rocks on the shores of Superior (ice cold water!) my feet never got a drop of water on them!

Not waterproof at all. So disappointing to have them soaked through in a matter of minutes when it rained. Only wore them two other days before the rain.
