I wear men's and women's clothing interchangeably and I've been wearing a great pair of "men's" sk8-hi vans for a year with no complaints. But I needed a new pair and wanted a platform for extra height and style. Tell me why when I compare my old pair to this one the quality has drastically dropped??? The high top ankle has no padding or support like my old pair does. The tongue on this shoe is actually more narrow and has no padding like my older pair. In fact, it looks like it has raw edges? The canvas is completely exposed and will start to fray after some wear. Also the shoe lace holes on my old pair of Vans have metal grommets to reinforce them and prevent fraying and tearingthese platforms don't! It's just I reinforced holes that over time will probably fray, stretch, and/or rip. I'm tired of brands making higher quality products that they market to men, but less options in style. Meanwhile women get a ton of cute style options but the quality drastically decreases, and usually for the same price! Anyways, I'm returning these and looking for platform high tops elsewhere.

I love this style! I have three different pairs and am hoping you'll keep making more variations for us, or add it as an option for customs They fit my feet the best out of all the vans styles I've tried. Yes, lacing them fully can take longer than others, but sometime I wear them wild and unlaced, or I will loosely lace them and still slip on/off. Versatile! Please keep making them

I have these in black and white another pair of black and white with the edges and now these in all black... Safe to say I love this shoe. To me feel comfortable. Definitely more comfortable than my Jordans. They look pretty awesome with anything I wear.

My granddaughter loves these shoes. They are well constructed and are canvas and suede. We treated them with Van protectant. She can't wait for school to start, she's excited to show them off!!

These high tops fits so well it's unbelievable. I've had some good and some bad but these Vans high tops are the best high tops going. Also - the platform adds comfort!

Due to some surgery and one leg being a little bit longer than the others, I have to wear a lift in my right shoe. The only shoes that I can find that I can wear the lift and still be comfortable in the shoes are Vans. This last purchase is my fourth pair of van. I recommend them to everybody. Plus my grandsons think I'm cool for wearing fans

Absolutely love these hi tops!! Wish they came in other colors i.e green, blue, etc. They look great with jeans.
