My spouse works on yachts. His shoes must not leave marks on decks. He has flat feet. So this shoe, a step in, easy on and off. Looks good and is comfortable. Much less expensive than a deck shoe.

I have not owned a pair of these shoes long enough to know how they hold up, but I liked the first pair a purchased to buy two more in different colors. I find them extremely versatile, reasonably good looking and very comfortable. I've had issues with other Sketcher's products being too wide, but these a just right for my foot.
