I am so bummed! I have done so much research to find a comfortable and attractive boot for an uncommon size foot. I thought I had finally found it in these boots. As soon as I put the first one on I was super excited that it was wide enough for my feet but not to long. However, I noticed that in some places it looks unfinished. I was willing to overlook this given the fit and comfort I briefly experience. As I went to tighten the boot I heard a pop sound only to discover that the rivet was missing causing the D ring eyelet to be improperly attached. I really expected better quality for the expense. I never got a chance to even stand up in these boots!

Oh I love these! The blue color is lovely, the fit is great (and that matters, since one of my feet has been a picky "princess" ever since surgery years ago), they're warm, and Propet clearly thinks more about how they design a shoe/boot than most makers. These are lace-up (with laces that don't untie themselves!) but the side zipper makes for very easy off and on. They're soft inside (with modest arch support), but because the insole is removable, orthotics will fit easily. I bought a half size up so I could use thick socks, but the boot comes with an additional thin, flat insert that helpfully keeps the boot just tight enough for when I use a thin sock. I haven't tested this out but if they're like my last pair of Propets (bought long ago and now with probably 10,000 miles on them) they'll stand up well to wet conditions. I'd love it if Propet made exactly this boot in a bootie/low ankle style!

These boots have a truly wide and deep toe box without seams on the sides, yet look pretty sleek and surprisingly fashionable on my 9W feet. The forefoot has plenty of room even with a thick sock, and offers complete mobility for my toes, more than any other shoe I've tried. Gray color is sophisticated, a little softer and cooler hue than black. I'm wearing them with a 3/4 custom orthotic, which the boot easily accommodates. My sole criticism is though the boot has a substantial tread on the bottom, the inside doesn't offer much insulation for warmth under the foot. I'm hoping a wool felt insole will make them perfect. A fluffy sheepskin insole would be even better, but I doubt I can fit both that and my custom orthotic in there.

An 8W is what I typically buy in any shoe or boot but these felt a 1/2 to a whole size larger. My feet were swimming in them. Nice boots, a suede feel on the outside, sherpa like inside- they just didn't fit.

Cute and well made. My ankles too large.

1) True to Length and Width. Nice looking, nice Grey Suede (I prefer it to the Black). 2) I would have loved to keep them but they didn't work with my insoles. I am really disappointed about it as I do love these shoes. It's challenging to find high shoes where my insoles will fit well. In general it is easier to find sports sneakers that personal insoles fit in than high shoes.

These boots are superb! So comfortable right out of the box. The Wide width is perfect. I really like them. I got a half size larger for room and thicker sock.

I LOVED these boots. As someone who needs a wide width, I was happy to see they carried my size (10) in wide. I had never worn Propet shoes before, so I ordered these and the Delphi to compare. It was a very hard choice but I went with the Delphi for more year round wear as I do not live in a snowy area (these are for a winter Europe trip). Pros- width, style and comfort were dead on. Very easy to swap in your own inserts, fits nicely with bulky socks, bunion guards and thick insoles. Plenty of toe room in the wide toe box. No discomfort at all. Side zip and laces for easy on/off and fit adjustment. Lug is good. Cons- these are definitely on the warmer side of things, which they should be for a winter boot, so it's only a con for me. I do wish they were fully waterproof vs. water repellant. In the event the forecast for Germany and France is a total snowmageddon, I will definitely get these right before my trip because they would be perfect. If Propet ever made this fully waterproof with a Vibram sole for a more rugged lug, that would be absolutely amazing.

This shoe is comfortable and accommodates my custom orthotic. I was wearing them when visiting my 90-yr old mother, she like them so much that I ordered her a pair. They worked for her with both of the insoles that come with the shoe - a thin spacer insole, and a supportive insole.

Nice looking boot but I couldn't get my foot all the way in with orthotic.

Upon opening the box, I noticed the one boot was torn at the tonque area where the laces are held together. Very disappointed. These are going to be returned. I tried them on to see about the fit. These ankle booties is cute, I ordered in the gray; 7 (2EE). I felt they ran 1/2 size bigger, then if you need a thicker sock, this would be okay. The width was fine, No ankle support. They squeaked while walking around the house to see how the felt.

Like the previous reviewer, I have uncommon size feet. It is not easy to find shoes that fit a size 7.5 EEE foot with high arches and a wide heel base. I was SO hoping these would work out! However, within 15 minutes of putting them on, the second D-ring on the right side of the right shoe had popped out. This is unacceptable for a brand new pair of shoes.
