Customer Reviews Ariat Scarlet Waterproof Boots

Beautiful boots! I hope I can break them in eventually, but my first wear gave me a terrible blister even though I didn't walk far at all. I fear they're more for looks than function.

I REALY wanted these boots to work! The style is perfect. The leather is supple. The craftsmanship is excellent. However, the fit of the footbed is terrible - not at all what I'm used to from Ariat. It's lose around the instep and very tight around the balls of my feet. I wear 8.5 or 9 in Ariat depending on the style and neither size fit right. I tried wearing them around the house but my fit literally hurt just sitting on the couch so I had to send them back. I'm really disappointed because these are the exact style I've been looking for. I own many, too many, Ariat boots that are extremely comfortable. I'm not sure how Ariat got this one wrong and I hope they fix the fit for the Scarlet 2.0.
