The mid weight sock is always a go to. Theres enough cushion to be comfortable hiking in boots, but not so hefty that regular athletic shoes feel tight. My feet stay comfortably warm but not sweaty. The Sasquatch and nessie design is delightful too

These socks are terrific. I own a dozen pairs of Darn Tough midweight micro crew socks, and this goofy design really hits the spot. I wear these socks out for everyday walking (theyre not just for hiking) and these socks hold up for years and years. Will need to make room to buy some more next year!!

I use darntough socks when I travel to another country for leisure, sometimes simple hiking at tourist attractions. For colder climate during spring and autumn, I would bring along mid weight socks. For warmer climate, I would bring along light weight socks. I have never used ultra light socks. I like the cushion and elasticity of the socks. Feels a little tight, but still okay to wear them all day. This is my fourth purchase (2 times via Amazon, 1 time from official website).

Absolutely love these socks. Dont wear anything else anymore. I can work on my feet all day as a letter carrier walking 10 miles and when I take them off they dont stink at all.

I think these socks are of great quality and I know they will last for a long time. The cushion is nice for maintaining comfort all day. My only gripe is that the socks are hard to put on. You really have to sit down and get them on your feet properly because they are not made like most socks that you can slide on in one move.

Ive been told these are great with toe socks for avoiding blisters. Design and color not too bad either! Cant wait to take them thru hiking.
