By far my favorite running shoes to date! The cushion is incredibly lightweight and supportive without feeling clunky. The wide base width helps my feet touch the ground evenly for surprising stability. The shoe gently hugs your foot without restricting its structure. Ghost Max is affordable, light, supportive, and perfect in my opinion.

I have a horrible time finding walking shoes that are comfortable. I am not a runner, but I do a lot of walking. These felt wonderful right out of the box. I immediately ordered another pair in the Papya color. I wear a consitent 7.5 and that's what I ordered in the Ghost Max. I am glad I did not size up because these fit perfectly. I would love it if you made more colors in this style to choose from. I will buy them!

These are the most comfortable shoes Ive ever owned. I have plantar fasciitis and these shoes have made an incredible difference in my ability to stand and walk.

I now have three pair of the Ghost Max. Id previously worn the original Ghosts for years, but these have changed everything for me. My runs are more comfortable, I dont have knee pain, my feet feel like Im on clouds, and Ive shaved significant time off of my longer runs. I hope these stick around forever.

They are ok. Ive had to get all new socks because my ankle socks slide down to much. So Im assuming I got the wrong size. They are light weight and breathable though!

I read other reviews about the Max and decided to give it a try, expecting it would be my everyday shoe, not my running shoe. Ive never worn the Ghost, always the Glycerin and I dont like to change things up. I purchased the Glycerin 21 at the same time-December 23.
I love the Max. Its a just right fit, good cushioning and great room in the toe box. I ran in the Glycerin 21 for a few weeks and decided to try the Max and prefer it for the reasons above. It also feels so light and springy and I dont think about my feet at all.
When Im ready to order again itll be the Ghost Max.
Im 57 and ordered my usual Brooks size of 9.5 women's.

I love my new Ghost Max. I have worn Brooks Ghost shoes for years. The new Ghost Max is so comfortable. I teach and I am on my feet all day long. I have 3 pairs. Any chance of adding a navy blue color for the Ghost Max?

Ordering a pair strictly for gym, and originals for street wear. I have problems with the regular Ghost in the ball of foot area. So trying to see if support for this area helps. Crossing fingers.

I have been running in Brooks Ghosts for countless years, so when the Ghost Max came out, I had to try it. I looked at the reviews and I decided to take a chance. These are now my new favorite running shoe! Super comfortable and cushiony. They offer a great ride from short runs to long training runs. I am hooked!
A note, they do run a bit wide. I typically buy a wide width shoe but am wearing a regular width shoe in the Ghost Max. They were a tiny bit tight on my baby toe, but one night of stretching was all they needed.

As a heel striker runner this shoe took about a week to get used to so that I was landing more in the middle of my foot and rocking forward onto my toes. Now that I'm used to it, they feel great. I love the cushioning, and especially love the wider forefoot. It still fits snugly on my heel, but gives my toes the room they need to spread out. I even believe that a several years long problem with my second toe on my left foot has been solved just by increasing the width of the forefoot. Under the advice of doctors and shoe specialists I've tried both bigger shoes and smaller shoes to try and find a way to keep that second toe from getting smashed during my longer runs. Now with the extra width, I haven't had that problem.

These shoes are so comfortable, right from the first time I slipped them on. The toe box has plenty of room--I prefer lots of toe wiggling space to keep my toes from being hurt or pinched while running. The cushioning is the best I've ever experienced in a running shoe. My previous brand at this pricing can't even be in the same race as these. The negatives are I have to double knot the laces as they come untied after less than a quarter mile and the heel needs a finger loop to help me ease my foot into the shoe to keep the back from crushing down.

Best rocker shoes. Had to switch to rockers because I have stiff big toe. Other rockers were too think and clunky and I tripped a lot. My running feels like these are as close to the Ravennas I wore years ago. I can run again and I run happy! Please don't ever change these shoes!

Very comfortable shoe. I usually take a 9 or 9 1/2 in a walking shoe but found the 8 1/2 Medium fits good. I will definitely be buying another pair.

I usually wear the glycerin, but recently tried the ghost max. It has a roomy toe box and lots of cushion! It is my new go to exercise shoe. Really like it, but wish their were more cool colors like the glycerin 20.

I really like the cushion. really helps with my knee pain. I did add some custom orthotics which also helps. I need an Xtra Wide Shoe and these fit the bill. plenty of toe room.

These are truly the perfect shoe (at least for me)! I started distance running several years ago, trying many shoes. My first marathon was in a pair of Brooks Glycerins and they were wonderful. I have Morton's neuromas in my left foot, which requires regular injections. Since that diagnosis, I've benefitted from more cushioned shoes for my distance runs. I tried some Hoka Bondis for two more marathons which were great at first but always gave me terrible blisters (I just thought it was the distance, but turns out it was the shoes!).
I got two pairs of Ghost Max this winter: one for runs and one from walking. They have put me back in such a comfortable place on distance runs! I ran a half marathon in them in May and had no foot or knee pain at the finish line. Even though they are heavier than a typical race shoe, I'm not out here chasing medals, so comfort is queen, and these are comfort! I have more races this summer and fall, including another marathon, and I feel more confident going into them now that I have found my Cinderella shoe for long distance running! My walking pair has been great on regular walks, travel days, and long days on my feet. Great toe box size too.
Please keep making these, Brooks!

Love the comfort of these shoes! Smooth ride with gentle roll off. Felt more energy efficient than regular Ghost. More lightweight than I expected! 10/10
