I walk about 4 mi 3X/wk & have high arches. My podiatrist recommended Brooks. I added a minimal arch support insole. Ive used these 4-5 times. So far, love them!! I walk on hilly terrain on asphalt & concrete. I like to get in a little backwards uphill. Well see if theyll hold up.

This is my second pair of Ghost max. The first pair was great! So much more cushion than the Original ghost. The second pair is identical to the first but cause ankle pain and my heels hurt within an hour of wearing them. I feel like the pair is defective,

I am enjoying my walks and runs in this shoe. It has the right amount of cushioning to support my foot-strike so my ankles, knees and hips don't start to feel stressed.

I have been wearing the Ariel 2020 and loved it. The color I wanted was sold out, so I tried the Ghost Max and love it, too. I am 5'10", 150 lbs. and have a dislocated 2nd toe, and I have orthotics for my shoes. I also have a narrow ankle and like a wide metatarsal box area in the shoe. I wear a Women's 10 Wide in all of my running shoes. Only the Brooks Ariel and Ghost Max fit my feet to the point that I can wear the shoes all day and be comfortable. They are great shoes for me. I have only worn Brooks for the past 6 years, and will probably wear only Brooks for the next couple of decades. I would like more colors for the wide shoes, and that is my only recommendation.

Best sneakers ever I am able to add my special insoles with ease. In fact I have 2 pairs I swap out wearing daily.

I have foot pain and other issues in my feet also but the ghost Max are the most comfortable shoes Ive ever owned! They have stability also. I only use Brooks, Hoka or new Balance. These are the best. I wore them all day at Cedar Point w my kids - over 18k steps and my feet were not sore.

I have had so much trouble with my back and my feet over the years but since I have been walking in the Ghost Max, I have noticed so much relief from pain in my back and pain and soreness in my feet.

Im obsessed with my pair. Theyve empowered me to get more active! Ill be getting these again and again!

A really nice max cushion shoe. Super comfy right out of the box, and don't need to be broken in. I haven't used them for running, but these are great for long walks and standing on your feet for extended periods of time. These are my new favorite shoe if I know I will be on my feet for most of the day. The built in rocking action is nice. For being such thick shoes, these aren't heavy.

I'm super far removed from being a runner, lol, but I AM on my feet for eight hour shifts...all concrete. Needed something to help endure that, and after trying several other brands, as well as several styles of Brooks, I settled down with the Ghost Max! The Glycerin 21's were a very close runner up, but the cloud like "sproing" from the Max seems like it will hold up a bit better to all the standing. A month or so in now, and couldn't be happier! (Plus the hot pink is AMAZING IRL!)

Love my new Ghost Max. Im a registered nurse and Im my feet for 12 hours. I need a great comfortable shoe like the Ghost Max. Ive always been a Brooks Ghost fan. Will always buy Brooks Ghost.

I love the original ghost max. Good toe room, I feel like I'm walking g on air !! A more comfortable shoe than the ghost max II.

I love the shoes but should have upped 1/2 size and wider.

I got them to take on a trip, I walked several miles a day wearing them no problem! Comfortable and stylish

Love these ! I was sold on Glycerin , but now Ghost Max is my favorite. Sooo comfortable!

Ankle Fusion patients, please wear this shoe because of the rocker. It will not cause pain in your foot. BROOKS...DO NOT DISCONTINUE THIS SHOE!!!! I can only order this type of shoe because of both of my feet are Ankle Fused. I'm very serious about this! Absolutely love love this shoe!!!

Very nice!!Felt very light,cushiony,fit was great-not tight but my foot felt snug in the shoes.

Great cushioning but a very snug toe box. I anticipate losing the toenail on my big toe within six months. I have worn Brooks Ghosts with no problem.

Super soft and plushy when I run, I really like them. Im a beginner runner and these are exactly what I need.

I wear this for my waitressing job where I am on my feet all day. I rotate between this and my Ghost 15 pair at work. At first I thought the Ghost Max didn't feel like it had enough arch support, but after wearing it for weeks with no pain I can honestly say I have no complaints. This pair is fantastic -- comfortable and supportive. After long shifts sometimes my legs will get tired but my feet still feel fine.

Very comfortable tennis shoes. I can wear them all day.
