Great for walking around! Too much room in the toe box for my liking. Laced them several different ways bc I wanted to love them so badly! Sadly I'm going to have to go back to my other brand for running:(

You don't have a section for questions, so I wanted to take the opportunity for a hopeful answer here. I have had my eye on the Ghost Max and took the plunge ordering the white/oyster/metallic because it was available in the wide width. I can't fairly review the shoes that I don't yet have. Are you going to have the wide width available in the tuscany and are you able to notify when it becomes available? Thank you.

Super cute and well made but too tight in the toe box, would recommend going up 1/2 in size

I loved my ghost 15s so I thought I would like these but they were snug and gave me a blister. They were like SUPER stiff, it was odd. I am bummed about it especially given the cost.

I love my Ghosts, and I was hopeful that the extra cushioning in the Ghost Max would be even better. However, I felt like I had leaden legs, and running was more laborious. It may be due to the smaller drop, but I ended up returning them. Still love my plain old Ghosts though

I was looking for more cushioning and a little more lift than my regular Ghosts, which I wear with orthotic inserts, but the Ghost Max did not work for me, so I am returning. What I didn't like is the drop in the heel height. Even with the orthotics, the drop was uncomfortable to me and I didn't feel like I would adapt, as it was also uncomfortable for my knees. I need a wide width, which has very limited color options, in all black these looked even more clunky than the regular all black regular Ghosts.

I???ve worn Ghosts for years, for training for anything between 5k???s to half marathons - but having recently turned 40, I???m finding my joints less and less happy with my running, so decided to give these a try. Unfortunately, I???m not a fan of these for running - they???re super cushioned yes, but that cushioning makes me feel too disconnected from the road! They???re also really tall which I think adds to feeling disconnected from the road. The height also makes my gait feel off because I???m not used to my foot striking the ground from that height. Overall, I think this would be a great walking shoe but it was too much of an adjustment for me to use for running! However, there seemed to be ample room in the toe box - more than the regular Ghosts - and the addition of rubber around the top few eyelets was a nice touch to keep the laces in place. Sizing seemed roomier all around than the regular Ghosts too - I???ve worn a 9 for years and would probably have gone down a half size if I was going to keep these for running. For foot reference, I have high arches and a narrow foot!

I've loved the Ghost 14s. Not as happy with the Ghost 15s, so I thought I would try the Max since they are closer cushion-wise to the 14s. I still prefer the 14s, by far

I have very flat feet and find a difficult to find comfortable shoes that fit. This was not the right shoe for me. I very much appreciate Brooks allowing me to try the shoes at home for 90 days and return them. It really allowed me to figure out which shoe was the best for me.

Shoe quality is great. I am sure this will work with people with a high arch. Just not for flat feet with no arch. If you plan to run more than 3 miles in this, You will get blisters even with high quality thick wool socks.

They are ok. I've had to get all new socks because my ankle socks slide down to much. So I'm assuming I got the wrong size. They are light weight and breathable though!

Love this shoe but after 2 hours of work in these shoes the toe area puckers and makes my toe blister from rubbing. I replaced the first ones with the same shoe thinking there was an issue with that pair but unfortunately the second pair did the same thing. Very unfortunate as these shoes are the only ones I can wear with my Plantar fasciatis and my doctor wrote me a script for them.

Want to love them, butway too big. I went off the recommendation for sizing that the website gave me based upon the sizing of my Glycerins and Adenalines. Also, wider than expected. Had to return them. :(

I like these and they're comfy w lots of cushion. However they're super wide even at medium width which I s my typical size in Brooks. I've been wearing them for a bit now and lately my Sox are ending up inside my heel bc of the heel being so wide. I prob won't buy these again unless they come up in a narrower size. Too bad bc I liked the cushioning.

They felt great at first. They reminded me of Hoka Clifton. I really appreciate the 90 day try and return because I began to have foot pain in my mid tarsals. I wasn't sure what was causing it but everytime I wore this shoe it would be aggravated. To the point I walked 3 miles and it took 2 days for the pain to subside. Maybe it's my high arch? I'm not sure but not a good fit for me.

I normally wear the standard Ghost style. I really liked the extra cushion of the Max. However, the midsole drop is a huge difference between the two styles and it was killing my ankle bone. I had to return the Max and go back to the standard Ghost style.

Wasn't able to find a wide to try on in store so I tried on a men's size and did the best I could to find the right size and due to the exchanges I had trying to find the right size I am unable to exchange this pair. Runs 1/2 size bigger and a wide is like an extra wide and the extra wide is huge. Hope this can help anyone who has wide feet like me. Would be helpful if Brooks can encourage retailers to carry wides it's hard to find the right size otherwise.

I was told the Ghost Max is the replacement for the Dyad. I do love the cushion in the Ghost Max but honestly they're not a suitable replacement for my Dyads. I've been wearing Dyads for years and they are the only shoe that my knees or hips don't eventually ache. My knees and hips both ached after the first time wearing the Max. I wanted the Ghost Max to work for me but am very disappointed and frankly don't know what I'll do when I can no longer get the Dyads. The Max is also too big. I have flat narrow feet and should have sized down because they're very sloppy on my feet.

Hmmmm, I'm still deciding on these. When you first put them on, it's a different experience. It felt like I was walking on quick sand! But eventually, the sensation wore off and I got used to them. I wore them in the city all day and they were super comfortable and gave me enough stability. They are a bulky shoe and there is a lot of room in the toe box to the point where I could not fill out the upper portion of the shoe. I got my usual size in Brooks but these definitely run wide. Overall, not a bad a shoe and with some minor improvements and additional colors, I think it could become a favorite for long days on my feet.

I thought these would be similar to my Ghost 14. They were not close, the extra cushion was nice but the drop difference was not a good change. I returned the Ghost Max.

The rubber by the laces started coming off 2 days after I got them. Bummer since they are so expensive. Otherwise they are really nice walking/running shoes.
