I love the new Ghost Max. I run in Ghosts often and thought the thicker sole would mean more cushion. I haven't noticed a big difference in cushion from my Ghost 15s, but still a very comfortable shoe that carries me on long runs without me noticing discomfort (from the shoe). And that says a lot in the shoe I look for.

While I am not a runner, I put on a lot of steps walking and strength training with Ghost Max. These have been a saving grace to my foot recovery. I've had a Great Toe fusion, metatarsalgia, and a neuroma. I need to wear a wide width and these also accommodate my under pronation. Finally a shoe that provides relief!! I'd buy every color if they were available in wide widths. Please be creative and offer other colors besides the standard black and white.

After being prescribed medication for inflammation due to plantar fasciitis, I had another flair-up a month later and decided to order new shoes. I was going to order the regular Ghosts but saw these came out with better support. After two days, my inflammation went down (without medication, just these shoes and stretching). These have become my new go-to shoes and my only regret is not getting a second pair. I got a it in the white color and they are scuffed, like any white shoe, but I refuse to wash them just yet because I don't want to go a day without wearing them. I've used these for exercise (running, weights, walking) and these shoes are so comfortable. I highly recommended these shoes to anyone. Great for everyday, runs, walks, etc. I even wore these to see the 1975 recently and was able to last the entire concert standing without any foot aches or pains. Don't second guess, buy...you won't regret. The price is a little high but for as long as Brooks shoes have lasted me, it's well worth it.

I took a chance and got these. I have been a avid ghost fan for a while so when I saw these I said these look comfy. Recently I have been increasing my mileage and feeling some tension in my ankles and shins. These are a GOD SEND!!! I love them so light, cushion is amazing and still neutral on the support. I am a solid size 8 the toe box is generous and the shoe is amazing!

LOVE isn't a strong enough word. They are as comfortable as all the Brooks I've worn in the last 30 years but I feel like the Ghost puts a little spring in my step. Will definitely by another pair

Love the amount of cushion. Wide toe box. Nursing a neuroma and these shoes have been wonderful with my inserts. More color choices please !

OKay, so I don6run, but I walk a lot. These sneakers are amazing! I feel like they propel me along and make my long walks easier.

I have extremely wide feet and arthritis in my big toe joint. These are the only shoes I've ever found where the extra wide are wide enough for my feet - the toes don't rub the sides at all! And the thickness protects my joint from over bending and pain. Wish the x-wide came in more colors than black though.

The cushioned bottom is really great on my aching feet. After my morning three mile walk my feet are killing me. I change into the Ghost Max and I can walk again. I should mention that I am an overweight 70 year old with fallen arches. I like them so much I bought a second pair to keep in reserve.

I have owned many pairs of Brooks, but the Ghost Max is by far my favorite! I am a massage therapist and stand all day on concrete with thin carpet covering it. By the end of my day, my knees and back were always sore. I already have some knee pain daily, but honestlythese shoes are the bomb! I may actually start walking again! I plan to buy some for everyone I know for the holidays! I can't express enough how much I love this shoe!

Amazingly comfortable, feel fast, and are very cute. My new favorite shoes.

Finally the perfect shoe! Supreme comfort and yet still responsive. Despite it looking a bit bulky the shoe itself is lightweight and fits great right out of the box. Please release more colors!

I love the extra cushion and toe box. I usually walk 5 miles daily and my feet and legs aren't sore or achy.

As someone who only ever wears the regular ghosts, I wanted to try the Ghost Maxs for better cushion during recovery days and long runs on the road. My feet are usually picky when I switch shoes but I immediately loved these and I feel much less impact from hard-surface running than before! Would definitely recommend as a road-running shoe.

I love my Ghost Max! I did my first 5K with my old shoes (which are also Brooks), and I had 4 blisters on the bottom of my feet the next day. I have both high arches and hammer toes, which make my feet very particular about the shoes that are put on them. After my first run with my old brooks (Ghost), I decided I needed something with more support on the bottom. I preordered the Ghost Max as an early birthday present to myself. I haven't done a full 5K with them yet, but I can already tell they are going to feel a lot better (I run 3 days a week). My first true test will be next weekend, when I run my next full 5K. Super satisfied so far!

I usually wear brooks ghost for my marathons and training. When I saw brooks was releasing the max I was super excited to try them. They did not disappoint! I love the added cushion that helps support my feet and they don't feel heavy or bulky at all. Super pleased with this purchase!

I love these. I have been wearing the Brooks ghost for the last 10 years and I was really happy that you came out with a shoe that is the perfect in between of a Ghost and a Hoka. Great cushion with more stability that the Hoka Mach 5. Also, they are a bit more streamline that the Glycerin. It is the perfect in between.

Great cushion and lower drop which I prefer. Unfortunately, I had to return as the shoe felt too large. I wear an 8 narrow in Ghost 13&14 but the 8 in Ghost max did not work.

Very comfortable shoe. I walk almost daily and these shoes have been great. Perfect amount of foot support for me. I no longer have the ball of foot discomfort I was having after walking in my previous shoes. These look clunky style-wise due to the wider toe box and the thicker sole, but that is not a deal breaker for me as the older I get the more I appreciate comfort over style!

So far I am loving the Ghost Max. I had been looking for wide shoes and these are great as they're available in a women's 2E. My feet are so happy, even after a long run or walking all day! I love the spring in my step when wearing them. I wear an 8 2E in Ghost Max, but an 8 1/2 2E in the Ghost.

I have plantar fasciitis but recently developed Morton's neuroma. I had purchased two other running shoes and was not finding any relief. After figuring out my new ailment, I did research and decided to give the Ghost Max a try. It's been a God send! Along with tying my shoe laces to accommodate even more room in the already roomy toe box, I am able to enjoy my daily 3 mile runs. I did order a size bigger than my casual shoe size based on other reviews. It has great cushion and the smaller drop is still perfect for my plantar fasciitis. Overall, great shoe. I believe they have a waterproof Ghost Max I intend to buy for winter use.

Love it. I am a new runner so I don't log a ton of miles. But these make everything so much easier. Like running on a cloud. I am a 37 regular in Birkenstocks and I ordered the size 7 regular and it fits great. My only complaint was I wanted the blush but it was sold out so I ordered the silver. Ultimately, I like this color as it goes with the outfits I already own. Wish it came in more colors and they had a trail running version. Love them.
