I have had these boots in distressed brown for over 2 years now and they still look and feel just as great as the day I opened the box. I've worn these boots for many occasions from horseback riding to going out at night to social events. These boots have a classic timeless look. I love these boots.

While searching for a new pair of cowboy boots online, I came across these Ariat Fatbabies. I am somewhat of a "cowboy boot connoisseur" and also really hate to spend my hard-earned money, so I immediately looked over the product description with eagle eyes and thought about purchasing them long and hard. I finally caved. I'd never bought a pair of Ariats before but I'd heard good things about them. So I waited, and waited, and waited for them to come... Finally. A shoe box-sized package on my doorstep. Eagerly I tore through layers of cardboard and out came the magnificent Fatbaby. No, really. I've had Roper brand boots (which were lovely, by the way, before they resorted to making nothing but man made stuff) and also Justin boots, but the leather quality on these Fatbabies is SUPERB. It's soft, pliable, and oh so gorgeous. I took in the sight of its shiny blackness before trying them on. Wow. I can walk in these babies all day. They felt almost broke-in right from the start. Also keep in mind that I'm cursed with hereditary foot pain, which means that after standing for oh, about an hour, I'm done. Somebody give me a drink and let me crash my butt into the nearest convenient spot. Not the case with these boots - they really are comfortable! Not to mention the compliments I've gotten on the sharp and smart contrast of black leather and pink/purple/blue stitching (not sure if Ariat still offers these in the multi-colored stitching). Would definitely recommend! Of course, like the true connoisseur, I have to come up with a complaint. Oh here's one... I have size 9.5 feet, and the round toe makes my feet look bigger and bulkier than they really are. I definitely favor square toe boots. But who cares. These babies are dressy. They fit true to size. The quality is evident. What's not to love? Great job with these boots, Ariat.

I bought these boots a year ago. I love them. I never thought cowboy boots could be this comfortable. They have the same awesome technology inside as my Ariat English Paddock boots. Definitely recommend.

I have two pair of these. I was a Justin guy for twenty years and switched to these. Rugged, Better support and the heel doesn't roll when youtou've had em a couple of years. Great boot.

I just got a pair of these today and couldn't be more happier with them.

I have had these for 2 years and they are still in great shape! I have been through thick and thin in these boots. I traveled from Washington to the Grand Canyon and they are just the best boots ever! I have to buy another pair because these are the best boots ever, in my opinion!

These were my first pair of boots and I am so glad that they were. I want to buy one in every style from Ariat now.

I bought the distressed brown as my first pair of cowboy boots and I absolutely LOVE them.......so I went out and bought a 2nd pair! They didn't have the Red Deertan in my size at my local store in Ottawa so I got them shipped in from Calgary, they were the perfect size. That's what I love about Ariat: their sizes are totally consistent. Because of how much I loved the footbed and everything, I now have 2 pairs of Cowboy boots, winter paddock boots, summer paddock boots and tall boots....it's safe to say that I ADORE Ariat.

I bought these about 3 months ago. They are so comfortable right out of the box. I love how these are so comfortable to work and play in. Fatbaby boots can go from farm to a night out on the town. Love my Fatbaby boots! I used to be a Justin boot girl but Ariat has definetly converted me.

I purchased the zip up version and as stated by others they fit straight out of the box. Wide fit and "OMG" comfortable, at 40 something and riding all my life these are the most comfortable boots i have worn. I have short wide feet and one slightly larger than the other, i have been crippled by traditional riding boots forever. Very pleased.

Love these boots. I wear them while doing chores around the barn, riding, and just out and about. They're really comfortable for all day wear. I have wide feet (like mens wide) and these were a little bit tight at first but they stretched out after a couple wears and now they fit like a glove. Perfect :) Going to be ordering another pair soon!

I bought these about two weeks ago and they are the best boots I have ever had! I don't really want to work in them but I'm sure if you did they would be just fine! They form to your foot it seems like. So happy with them that I will probably only but Ariat for the rest of my life! Gonna buy the hybrid lace ups to work in too!

I wear these boots to work regularly and they're great! They're extremely comfortable and rugged. I walk a lot and spend a lot of time on construction sites so I need tough boots. These are the best. I could use 2 more pairs!

I just bought these and they are so worth the money. Love the fit and they are so comfortable. Can not wait to ride with them and put them to good use.

Managed to get my boyfriend to get a pair so we could go out and he didn't have to wear his work boots. He loves them! They are a simple yet extremely nice looking boot and he says they are extremely comfortable. Again, Ariat has another happy customer!

Bought these beautiful Heritage boots in distressed brown for my daughter and she won't take them off! She has a wider foot so I got 6.5c and they fit like a glove and true to size! The color is awesome,and look adorable with anything she wears from shorts to dresses! Just perfect..LOVE

I have got a couple of pairs of these boots and I love them. I wear them everyday. Only pair of shoes that you will need!

I bought these as my next pair of barn boots for mucking and other things, and usually i had to buy a pair a month of other boots and these have lasted me over a year. I wear them daily, for hours in the barn, the traction is great, and apparently the ones i bought were insulated and waterproof, and they are. They keep my feet warm in the winter and not too hot in the summer. The waterproof feature is great. I love them over the justins that are this style. Much more comfortable and dont rub blisters.

I received these boots a Christmas present from my husband. I had a done a lot of research before telling him these are the ones I wanted. I finally got a chance to wear them yesterday for the first time and I absolutely love them! I have a lot of problems with my toes and my shoes have to be comfortable, and these were completely and totally comfortable all day yesterday! They are beautiful to look at, well made and comfortable. I know I will never buy another brand of boot of again!! I can wear anywhere between a 9 and 9.5 in boots to be comfortable for me, so I ordered a 9 and they fit perfectly.

Got my first pair for Christmas and I LOVE them < 3 I wanna get another pair.

While tooling around picking up ranch supplies, there the Fatbaby Cowgirl boot beckoned, noticed the word "Ariat". Took a 2nd look, the boot I had dreamed of. Thoughts whizzed..Dang it, I did not come in here to bless myself. Right size, right color, teetering on one foot, slipped right on over my high instep. Ariat boots, my 1st pair, impressive, yes, plus the boot box contained a little leather Ariat keychain, which has gone thru 3 Dooleys, still have my durable Ariats, since the 80s, with a couple of pair of Ariat English riding boots. These powder brown and turquoise "Babies" were rescued, for a life in the meadows, befitting my justification. Thank you Ariat for building quality boots, this being my 4th pair of Ariats.
