I bought this top in auburn. It's a nice top, fits right, but I do not like the bright orange ties. I considered sending it back, but I think I will keep it anyway. The ties make the top look cheap.

Love the color and fit. I should have read the makeup of the fabric more closely. After three wearings and washings, it has started pilling all over, but especially the arms and front. It will have to be relegated to doing chores and not for casual Fridays.

Beautiful color. Love the cut. Love the lightweight warmth. Hate how easily the fabric snags. And when it snags it looks like you cut the fabric with a knife. I don't think I've ever owned something that snagged as easily as this does.

I have had this pullover for several months, and I love the way it looks, the weight, the warmth. But...the material catches on everything and threads pull out. I tried after the first time to repair it but was unsuccessful. Two more pulls from catching it on everyday items have made the front look like I have stains and the sleeve pull is particularly bad. I'm so disappointed.

I have this top in another color and like it and coral is usually a good color for me. However, this shirt almost glows in the dark! I've already washed it so can't return it but will donate it. Colors are difficult to discern online.

I bought this shirt less than a week ago. It's a nice shirt and a good weight for fall weather. I wore it today to a play. When I got home, I noticed there was a long thread hanging near the pocket. At the end of that thread was a
hole. I don't know if I caught it on something.Or if it was already there. But for the price I paid for this shirt.I'm not happy at allI don't know if I caught it on something or if it was already there, but for the price I paid for this shirt, I'm not happy at all.

Love the color and the style. I knew it was designed to be a longer top, so I bought a Petite (I'm 5'6"). The top is still too long for me (which I understand is a style preference) but the sleeve were also extremely long. I generally have issues with a Petite because sleeves are too short - I needed to cuff these about 2 inches to free up my hands.

Love the way it fits but only after a few washes it pills badly in the inside and there are little rips on the outside. For the price this is disappointing.

I liked the neck style as I love the similar tops I bought last year but this one didn't fit the same as Women's L.L.Bean Cozy Mixed-Knit Pullover's. I tried a XL and an L of this one, in storm teal. The L fit in the shoulders but the hip area was a tad small. The XL fit in the hips but was too big on the shoulders. FYI, I 5'5" and 175 lbs. I didn't like the fabric at all: a soft blend of 89% polyester, 10% TENCEL Lyocell and 1% spandex. . It feels like plastic to me compared to the soft 59% cotton, 38% polyester, 3% spandex of the Mixed-Knit top I love. The inside of this top where the hand pocket area is is really plastic feeling and kind of wrapped around my belly. I just hated the feel of this top overall. If it had been cotton I may have like it better. I also thought the texture looked like I was wearing a blanket. This were an easy "no way" in my book. I sent them back within 24 hours.

I have never been more disappointed with an L.L. Bean purchase. Pros: This top is comfortable, the color is gorgeous, and the fit was perfect. Cons: Expensive! It pilled after 1 wash. Snags SO EASILY. This shirt has caught on everything from rings, to earrings, to shopping carts. There are tons of strings hanging out. I don't see this lasting as long as my other Bean tops.

This was just delivered today in time for fall weather in the Rockies. I am usually a medium, but ordered a small. The sizing was more like a large. The color is green tinged, not like the dark cinder that is pictured. It is going back tomorrow.

Wish I would have read the reviews before ordering. I tried it on when delivered and seemed fine. After I washed it in cold water and low temp dryer and wore it the first time it was not comfortable on my skin. Somewhat itchy feeling. Not sure what is in the fabric to cause this. If you have sensitive skin I would not recommend this top.

I purchased this in Sea Green, an absolutely gorgeous smokey sage color! I get tons of compliments, especially as a redhead it really pops! However, and this is a huge issue, and the fabric is atrocious!!! I have washed this sweater once and the fabric's interior is now itchy and pilling! Honestly, it feels like I'm wearing a plastic trash bag! There is also an issue with it riding up and not laying nicely, but I do think that's still an issue with the fabric getting stuck on my t-shirt when I move. It is truly awful. I loved it when I first tried it on! I will return for a refund under Beans warranty. They should never have approved this fabric. Please, Beans, Mainers are begging you to start offering quality stuff again! (And preferably, more items made in the USA/Maine.)

The photo has the model with bent arms so that it's hard to see how far down the armpit hole is and how long the arms are which makes the whole thing look unfeminine for me. I guess I prefer a more fitted look.
